Clean the cat box with warm water and a mild detergent between litter changes. Use just like a traditional clumping litter. 1. Pour to a depth of 3-4 inches. 2. Remove solids daily. 3. Terrible cat litter! It gets ALL OVER the place! I have two cats who share an enclosed cat box and they even started pooping outside of their box because I'm assuming the dust and fragrance was too overwhelming for them; I had to remove the lid from their litter box. I'm pretty sure that it caused my cats to get sick also, most likely from them cleaning themselves/licking the litter/fragrance off their fur. I rated this product 2 stars because the only positive is it does work well eliminating orders.

This litter is shockingly light. I was very happy. Usually reviews are very subjective and I take the one star reviews lightly. I should have paid attention. Our house smells like nail polish remover, which is the glade scent. It is nonstop. It doesn’t smell like cat urine but I really didn’t want my whole house smelling like this. My husband is not sensitive to smell, but when he leaves and comes back, he smells everywhere. I am sensitive to smell and it is all I can smell. Migraine sufferers beware. As far as the weight, it is so light that my short-haired cat spills litter and brings a ton out with him and he scrapes the outside of the box on the ground. I have a covered box with a door. It goes everywhere. I don’t know what it’s made out of but it is not a normal litter. It’s kind of like peanuts that you pack things with if you were to break them up in the tiny pieces and spill everywhere. I will never purchase this again, and I recommend it for no one. It is not a typical clay litter. It’s like litter confetti soaked in bad perfume. I’m really concerned that my cat would ingest by mistake because it’s everywhere. It bounces.

Worst cat litter I have ever used. good for clumping but it also clumps on my cats fur which gets in your bed and dropped throughout the house, on couch, every where through out your home.

Just recieved the New litter and smelling poop and pee all through my house. Why would you sell this sawdust thinking we will be ok with it? RIPOFF! You now have ruined a great product. Good job! to someone!
