Hey there! I've got a large Ragdoll (we think) cat that is roughly 10 years old who stopped using his litterbox for anything other than urine starting about 6 weeks ago. Always at night, when we're asleep, usually every 2-4 days, he goes on a binge poop, dropping of "presents" (ranging from hard/dry to wet/soft) on our front porch mat, my office rug, the hardwood floors along a wall, by the litterbox, on the rug by his feeder. No changes to clean litter situation or diet in over a year.
My 19 yr old cat with diagnosed kidney disease has started eating his clumping clay litter. Is pine clumping litter safe or would nonclumping pine be safer?
After my cat uses the litter box, he paws down the sides of the box. Is the litter too dusty for him?
I have 3 cats. 2 are 15 yes old. The other is 7 yr old. My older cats are peeing behind the couch. I have used Miracle products, scrubbed and put soda down then use brush to work soda in. Even with this method they still go behind the coach. I clean their litter boxes 2 times s day. How can I keep my older cats from peeing on the carpet?
I just adopted mittens from my local shelter on June 8. When I brought him home he was very scared. Now he has settled in our home. I found out that mittens doesn’t like scented litter and was refusing to use the litter box. So I bought him arm and hammer unscented litter. I put him in the litter box and he sniffed it and jumped out. What should I do now? He has been going potty in the shower, should I put the litter box in the shower?
I been using kitten attract cat liter and I was wondering when I can start using regular cat liter?
my 1 year old cat spray my and my boyfriends laundry baskets. Later on, I found poop in my basket. These baskets are close to my bedroom closet. Factors: this afternoon, my boyfriend and I did a deep clean of the litter boxes. We emptied each hooded box and sprayed and wiped down every side. We didn’t know what happened until after we did this. Other factor: I came home from an oddities convention and brought home a skunk pelt. I put it in my closet so the cats wouldn’t get it. Other cat 6 y
12 year old Female Cat just started (4 weeks ago)peeing on side of fully cleaned litter box after 3 -5 days of being used.
I have two cats. A boy and a girl. When I change the litter box, the urine in the box is very pungent. What could this be from? I just want to make sure my babies will be ok.
Which dry food is best for an indoor, seven year old cat, low in calories?
I have two cats, a 7 year old and an 11 year old. I've been giving them a mix of three types of dry food (Science Diet urinary health, Blue Buffalo healthy aging, and Blue Buffalo Indoor hairball control mature). Is this a good idea to mix these three together in their bowls? I just want them to get the benefits from these products as well and not get tired/develop an allergy from just one type of food constantly. Thank you!
My cat, cocoa, won't stop peeing outside of the litterbox (even though I clean twice a day) and its gotten to the point where I will have to get rid of him. Please help
