I have a golden retriever and she takes this medicine she is 4 years old can she still get pregnant
- Yes but I wouldn’t recommend passing on the thyroid disease to the puppies. It is hereditary. Best to get her spayed. So many dogs in need of homes. Thyroxine is for thyroid hormone level. It has nothing to do with reproduction.

My baby girl takes thyroid meds twice a day. She has extremely dry skin. Very flaky. I have tried numerous dog foods and I give her omega vitamins every day to no avail!!!! Help. :(
My 17 yr old cat has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. she was started on Methimazole chew treats and now refuses to eat them. I switched to the twist a dose ear Methimazole but if I give that to her daily like the vet suggested, all she does is sleep day and night. It seems to knock her out right after I apply it to her ear. then she starts vomiting her food. I am beginning to think we would be better off going with the radioactive iodine thing. what do you think?
My 16 year old dog has been taking Vetoryl for 2 weeks, she went herself twice today, was sick 48hrs ago ( isotope test normal at vets). She has lost weight has loose stools and no appetite and very tired . Dose 30mg. I'm worried sick.
M my 10 year old golden retriever was diagnosed with Cushing’s disease about five years ago. He’s been on medicine for that disease since then. His weight was stable at 34 kg and over the past month or so we have noticed that he lost additional weight. He’s now at 32 kg. The doctor has done some bloodwork and has determined that the medicine for the Cushing’s disease is too much because he has an under active thyroid now. Which has me concerned
Lioh weighs 9.2 lbs and has been prescribed nexgard 4-10lbs (6 packets or 6 months worth). I know he will be gaining weight over the next 6 months and therefore donno know if I should get him 3 packs instead of 6. What would you advice?

My German Shepherd mixed breed is around 13. (Pound dog - exact age unknown.) He is being treated fro a suspected pinched nerve in his back. The Vet suggested routine blood work. Two markers in the Catalyst Dx section were high. ALT was 180 U/L (normal 10-125) and ALKP was 492 U/L (normal 23-212). She said to help his liver he should get Denamarin 425 mg, one pill per day. It is very expensive. I have no reason to doubt her integrity or competence, but.... Do you agree?
2.5y.o lab/ pitt/ mix neutered male dog presenting with weight loss (down 10lbs, currently a thin 36lbs for his size), behavioral changes (depression), low T4 levels, crystals in his urine and labored breathing.
