Fire drill insanity
Imagine living in a bldg where there are over 600+ units. When they test the fire alarms it sounds in every unit from 9am-5pm. This is insanity for both myself and fur baby. Aaaaarghâźď¸ Ordered freaky fast delivery from Instacart. No lies detectedâŚ.it works.

ThunderWorks shirts calm my dogs immediately
As soon as I put the Thundershirts on my dogs, they calmed down. Thunderstorms and fireworks have always caused my dogs to shake, hide, and pant. They had medicine to take, but the last time one of my pups had paradoxical reaction and was even worse off. I had to find a natural solution. These Thundershirts worked amazingly well. When I added the white noise of a floor fan and audio of cows mooing (hey, they grew up on a farm) both actually fell asleep and began to dream even while fireworks were going off outside. My dogs don't mind being in these shirts even when they're not stressed, they seem to enjoy them. I am very happy with this purchase and being able to have same day delivery on July 4 was an added bonus.

Thunder shirt helps with fireworks anxiety
This product was helped greatly during the fireworks over the 4th of July. My neighborhood sounded like downtown Beruit on a Saturday night. My dog was terrified and needed tranquilizers the first 2 nights. I bought the thunder shirt and we introduced it to her. After a few hours she was quiet and went to her kennel but was not cowering or hiding in the tub trying to dig through it. Great help for us!

Didnât work. I had the same results with it on as I did when it was off. My dog still shakes and drools and whimpers in the car.

does this help with barking dogs?
How do you measure a dog for a Thunder shirt? Â I know you go by pounds, but dogs gait and chest differ, even if they have the same weight
- Measure around chest area, length from collar area to in front of tail at body.

What if my dog's weight shows one size but chest meaaurement shows another? He weighs 70 lbs (size XL) but chest is only 30 inches (size L). He is a Lab and 15 mos so shouldnt grow more.
Does it help dogs dealing with canine cognitive dysfunction?
My rescued dog is always anxious and afraid of both human and load noise. I'd like to give this shirt a try. Is there a time limit to wear it per day? Can I leave the shirt on my dog? Will the effect reduce after a while? Thanks!
- My dog is a rescue also and this shirt has been such a help. It calms him down almost instantly. Iâve let my dog wear it for long periods of time but he hasnât worn all day but I donât see why you couldnât wear all day. I donât think longer periods reduce the effectiveness. Heâs much calmer every time we put the shirt on.Â

Has anyone had help with separation anxiety with the vest. We canât leave our wire fox terrier without excessive barking and house destruction. Â Any help would be appreciatedÂ
- I have used it on a cross-country with my Paparanian and he did great. I don't know if it would have been different without it as it was his first trip. I really can't answer about leaving your dog alone in it. I guess if you have to leave them, it wouldn't hurt to try and see. You can return it to Petco if it doesn't work.

Will this shirt help with motion sickness in a car?The only time my dog wasnt sick was when I held her and someone else drove. I was wondering if you know if it will help?
- I'm no expert but I would say that if the motion sickness is the result of anxiety, it should help a lot. I drove from Colorado to Massachusetts with my dog wearing the thundershirt except at night when we were in the hotels. He handled the trip like a pro!

I have a 52lb bulldog. I am not sure of her chest size but she is very stocky with a large barrel chest. Would you recommend a L or XL? Thanks.

My dog is 41 pounds with a 26 inch chest. While the chart would put her in a large, others have mentioned that they run large. Should I buy a medium?
- From my experience, the Large is better. Theyâre easy to tighten, so I think itâs better to be a little bigger than too small. (My guy doesnât like wearing it, so I kinda gotta coax him in, but it works like a charm!)
