I'm having a hard time deciding between Fromm kibble and honest kitchen dehydrated dog food. I think honest kitchen is an excellent food but it's a little pricey. Is their a better choice here? Please explain? (The honest kitchen food is not raw but cooked at 165 degrees.)
Is Hills i/d digestive care chicken stew a good food for dogs? I noticed it has some sugar in it - is this ok? I want to use this as a topper on my dogs regular kibble because she has a sensitive system and she loves the taste. She's on Natural balance lid small breed bites currently and doing great.
im cooking home made diet i need to know how many oz of cooked chicken breast to feed (i will be adding veggies and a multi vitamin is there any multi vitamin you recomend) and will add in chicken heart iv all ready tried diffrent brands of dry dog food leaving it out for days and starving her she just wont eat or canned she wont eat canned too
I want to get this canned food for my dog as a topper to her dry food. It has shredded chicken along with whole white beans, peas and potatoes. Will she be able to digest this ok because the beans, peas and potatoes are not ground into a pate texture? she's on the dry version of this currently. I also ditched the twelve calorie treats and purchased the smaller 2 calorie treats and I'm only giving her three of those per day. Her total intake of extras is now less than 10% of her diet. :-)
She is not eating the Natural chicken and sweet potato cans I ordered. She is almost 14 years old. I have tried most of the Senior diet but the chicken and barley makes her belly bloat. She eats canned but due to several teeth removed cannot eat dry. She is a dachshund of normal weight and good health. She is still an active walker.
My dog just opened my door and finished my 1/2 bowl of soup while I was downstairs. It was Well Yes! Black Bean with Red Quinoa Soup, Ingredients: Chicken Stock, Black Beans, tomato Puree (Water, Tomato Paste), Diced Tomatoes In Tomato Juice, Corn, Red Peppers, Jicama Juice Concentrate, Red Quinoa, Onions, Three Chiles Blend Puree (Water, Chiles Blend* [Ancho Chiles, Pasilla Chiles, Guajillo Chiles]), Cornstarch, Salt, Roasted Garlic, Wheat Flour, Cumin. *dried. Obviously I am now very worried?
cheap dog food that helps dogs liver
Recently, Tot refuses to eat anything other than canned stew types of dog food. However, her stomach is extremely sensitive, despite slow transitions, stool is liquid. Her vet has prescribed pro-pectilin, which seems to help, but not enough. She currently eats Dave's pet food stews. We have also tried Instinct with the same result. She is 14 and is in what I've been told is the end stages of heart disease, so I want her to have the best food possible. Any suggestions?
Best inexpensive boxer dry dog food
which wet dog food is the best for my dog with an enlarged heart
I am getting an 8 week Cocker Spaniel. I am not new to Cocker Spaniel, just puppy versions. I want to try a new food for her, and need suggestions. I did research & came across these dry foods: Merrick Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Merrick Limited Ingredient Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Taste of Wild Pacific Stream Grain Free Smoked Salmon, Taste of Wild Appalachian Valley Small Bree’s Grain after Roasted Venison. Are any of those good, if so which one? Want to stay chicken free.
new owner (haven't had a dog in 30 years) of a rescued Great Pyrenees. I feed her Rachel Ray kibbles which she seems to like but I like to add something at her dinner feeding. Is it acceptable that I cook and feed her chicken leg quarters with NO seasoning? I thoroughly shred them after cooking in the crockpot and add a cup of chicken to her kibbles. She really seems to enjoy it. I also add some sweet potatoes or pumpkin and brown rice as well. She's 88 pounds. 1 1/2 yrs. old
