Don't fish skins contain toxins?
- The skins contain whatever that fish ate which is why knowing the source is important. Every food source has something that can be improved upon. It's probably a good bet there is some mercury in them, as there is in other fish, but the amount of treat offered combined with the frequency your dog eats them is highly unlikely to cause an issue.

What training treats should I give chewy
Hello buddy is a yellow lab and he loves to chew on Rawhide. I can't seem to find the huge rawhides he likes that I buy at Christmas time. Can you recommend any treats that he can chew on for long periods of time? I see that dr. Foster and Smith sell a rawhide bone but it's almost $30 for three of them and then not nearly the size of the large ones he gets through in a few days if that.

Nikki eats core wellness grain free ocean flavor. Being using VetriScience, her itchiness from unknown allergy hasn't improved. sorry they’re not pedigree tasty bites. we just keep these snacks in that package because the pedigree one closes, and the original package for this snack doesn’t, so when the pedigree ones were done we put this small bones there. they’re called “snack mini-bone” by activpet but they’re no available in the US. i do remember that in the original package it said it was good as a reward for exercise.
I'm having a hard time deciding between Fromm kibble and honest kitchen dehydrated dog food. I think honest kitchen is an excellent food but it's a little pricey. Is their a better choice here? Please explain? (The honest kitchen food is not raw but cooked at 165 degrees.)

I want to make sure my dog has adequate amounts of omega 3 in her diet. I give her a fish oil capsule daily. If I also give her a fish based kibble (eg. Orijen six fish) several times per week (3-4) would this also help with getting more omegas in? the only drawback is having two bags of kibble open at once. One 4/5 pound bag lasts me 30 days. So the bags would be open for about two months. I figure that this is still ok. They are usually resealable bags. If not I use a bag clip.
