My dog absolutely loves it! She is a senior dog that has gotten very picky about what she eats. Honest kitchen food has been a game changer for her.

My fussy little senior yorky loved this. I rescued him 8 months ago and struggled to find anything he would eat consistently. I had to give him something different every meal and couldn't find a "good" food that he would eat. I had been feeding the chihuahua the Honest Kitchen dehydrated base, but he wouldn't eat that either. I got this to try, he loves it and it is good for him too.

My dog's loved this. They go crazy when it's time to eat. And i feel good knowing their eating good stuff.

My little Yorkie won't eat the small dry kibbles in this brand but she loves this butcher block pate. I mix it with another dry food and She cleans the bowl every time. Will definitely stick with this.

my 13yo poodle/pom isn’t picky, she eats when she’s hungry, but i’ve never been able to find a food for her that she’s excited to eat. and lately she’s seemed less and less interested in her meals to the point that i’ve been concerned whether she’s actually eating enough i’ve had my dogs on freshpet for the last 5 or so years and she likes it enough, but i wanted her to be excited for her meals vs just satiating herself. she’s in really good health and spirits, but i know that she can’t be around forever, so i want to do my best to ensure she’s enjoying life as much as she can while she’s here, and food is one way to do that so i’ve been on the hunt for a better food for her the last couple of weeks, and after many failed attempts with other products, this is the one! she dances for this, she loves it so much. she gobbles it up and i’ve never seen her like this. for the first time in her whole life, i have to make sure i’m not feeding her too much at once because she won’t stop eating until the dish is clean, vs before where i’d just serve however much because she’d stop eating when full and leave leftovers. not a chance of leftovers now i’m so happy to have found this. it is a little pricey to feed by itself so i’m still hoping to find something a little cheaper that she likes as much to mix this with, but for now, as long as i can afford it, i think the price is worth it for how much she’s enjoying it. she’s only 7 lbs so she’s eating less than one of these boxes a day. i definitely don’t think it would be affordable if my dogs were bigger or even if i were feeding more than one of them this food which leads me to my first note: as i said, i have another baby (9yo 6lb mutt) and she IS extremely picky, and she has no interest in this food… can’t win ‘em all i guess another note: i bought both this chicken flavor as well as the turkey version, and so far, poodle/pom doesn’t care for the turkey one. her enthusiasm seems to be only for this flavor in particular. regardless, i’m happy to finally have a winner here :) now i just have to continue the search for my other one… one last thing - another reviewer commented on the smell but for me, i think this food smells so good! (the turkey one smelled bad though) i don’t eat meat, so normally, i think all dog food smells pretty rank, but this stuff just smells like a fresh cooked meal when i open it
