Tetra Pond Water Garden Pump is designed to power small waterfalls, filters and fountain heads in decorative backyard water gardens. Waterfalls and fountains add beauty and elegance to outdoor spaces and can mitigate bothersome noises in your pond. Tetra Pond Water Garden Pump includes two adapters to fit tubing measuring 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch in diameter. This magnetic-drive water garden pump comes with a 3-year limited warranty (see product packaging for details). It is tailored to fit a variety of pond sizes and pumping heights. UL Listed. Pumps up to 550 GPH.When choosing a statuary pump, make sure the size is slightly more powerful than you need to compensate for some loss due to friction in tubing and filtration components. A larger pump will also allow you to add water features in the future, if desired.

How long is the power cord and what is the diameter of the outlet?
- Well, that depends on which of the pumps you are referring to as they come in sizes from 325 gph to 1900 gph. Cords will be 12 to 20 feet long. Outlet will be 1/2" to 1".

- No as the water is what cools the pump

what pump protector should i use with this? my pond gets alot of debri from trees and bird droppings.
- You can create your own using a bucket place pump inside the bucket make sure the bucket is large enough for intake of water then cover the top with screen you still need to clean the screen periodically but the pump will last longer. This pump does take a lot of abuse.
