I just bought a 5lb bag of food Does it have a Use By date or expiration?
- I only have purchased smaller bags, but the expiration date is on the back side, upper left. It is usually printed on the tear-off piece that is removed to open the bag.

How is the food packaged? Is the food contained in a large bucket with lid? OR is the food loose in a box?
- That depends on which size you purchase. The smallest is a round plastic container with a lid. There is also a resealable bag size, a bucket with a lid and the largest size is a huge box with plastic liner.

One of my koi, was healthy, swimming around and eating on Tuesday afternoon at about 2:15 pm; at 2:40 pm he was found floating upside down at the side of the pond (1000 gallon pond with 3 koi and 2 goldfish) practically lifeless. We placed him in a separate tub of water with a bubbler for the rest of the afternoon. That night at about 9:00 pm he had righted himself and was slowly swimming around in the tub, so we returned him to the pond. What might have caused this situation?

Hello, all my koi fish are becoming sick. They're demonstrating a behavior called flashing. No, they don't have visible parasites like anchor worm or fish lice so it had to a disease. Their fins are also getting torn up. They die from slowly becoming more and more inactive. Do you have any products that can help fight against this.
My goldfish appears bloated
Hello I have a koi Betta fish and when I got it it use to eat all the time. Now it has stop eating for a week almost. It is bloated and hides in her house most of the time. I can't tell if its dropsy or ick or something else. I did treat it with salt and api super ick. But have seen no results expect she did poop. What can I do? She is not interested in food at all.
I was wondering on how I could safely move my koi fish into my home for the winter with a tank. I have two koi that are about five inches long. We weren't shure how big of a tank to get , how to feed them , and how to keep the water clean. Help? By the way we are keeping them in a bucket until we can get the right tank.
Have 60 gal tank with 2 largish Ryukin goldfish, doing well together in this tank for several months. I added 3 times different smaller Ryukin from different sources, acclimated by floating bag method, put in the tank with the larger Ryukin. All new fish died within 3-5 days, w/ signs of swim bladder problem - not remaining upright, then dies. Water tests all zeros, using Safe, API proper ph 7.5 & bacteria. Temp 78. Tank cleaned often.. Eat soaked Hikari sinking mini pellets, peas. Ideas?
