Remove old cartridge (keep the frame and clip for reuse with unassembled cartridges if desired). Take the Stay Clean Aerobic Filter Frame (with tablet holder) and for the first use, twist the clip off the frame. Remove tablet from foil pouch, insert the tablet into the tablet holder, and secure the cap. Slide the filter bag over the frame. Add one packet of Ultra-Activated carbon. Press the frame flaps down over the top of the filter bag and press the clip down over the flaps. Rinse filter cartridge under room temperature tap water until water runs clear. Insert rinsed cartridge into filter, ensuring it fits into designated channels. Replace filter cartridge and tablet monthly (use the Tetra My Aquarium App to schedule a reminder). For aquariums established less than one month use regular Bio-Bag or the Stay Clean starter cartridge that came with your filter. NOTE: When medicating your aquarium, remove carbon from cartridge.

I just purchased Imagitarium Ammonia-Reducing filter media cubes from Petco and there are no instructions for how to use. I have a 5 gallon tank with a submerged Built-in filtration system how many cubes do I use and how do I put them in my filter? Please provide the instructions thank you for your time.
hello new to the hobby started a 75 gallon tank have now 12 tetras in my tank i am at 6 weeks today my question is if and when should i change my filters on my filter google it first and seen some comments that said never unless the filters start to break apart
We have four cardinal tetras, three glo danios, three glo tetras and a albino Cory cat. They are all the type to only get an inch to two inches long and so we have them in a twenty gallon tank. Have gravel and silk/plastic/resin/and live plant/decor and proper filter/heater/air. Also have changed filter once a month, siphoned 25% water/debris out every two weeks using water conditioner but don't know why we have murky water and how to remedy this...
Is this tank big enough/small enough to hold goldfish fry (these fish will not be in it we are just cleaning up there other tank)
I have 2 fancy goldfish in a 60 gallon tank and one of them, has stopped eating and became lethargic after about five days after I got him! He hasn’t eaten in about 4 days. The tank was cycled using a filter cartridge from an established tank. 15% water changes every 4 days and yesterday I did a 50% water change, I then removed the activated carbon and added metroplex and kanaplex and aquarium salt. No improvement. Should I put the activated carbon back in or continue treating with the meds?
Hello, I have a Beta fish. His tank keeps getting algae. I just cleaned it and purchased new rocks and now its back. Just wondering if I should get a new tank, or bleach his current tank. -Thanks
I’m trying to cycle a 10 gal fish tank. I have been adding your biological booster for a month now and nothing is happening. The ammonia is holding steady at .5 ppm and I’m not seeing any nitrites. Is there a way I can test to see if there are actually live bacteria in the booster. I’ve checked everything else I can think of.
Best foods for 29gallon tank with 4Rosaline Sharks, 4Congo Tetras, 1large bushy nosed plecostamus. Vitamins?
He's a full grown betta fish, I've had him for a little over half a year, adopted him from a friend. He has a filter and a heater in his tank & I try to stick with recommended products. As of the last couple months, his fins are curling up in the back and he will only eat one pellet every other day or so. I had been feeding him three pellets twice daily. Last week I started cleaning his 1 gallon tank twice a week instead of once a week, and am considering upgrading to a 2.5 gallon tank instead.
I have 65 litre aquarium tank with internal power filter I change water weekly 50-80%. but not cleaning to Internal from 15 days . So what happened if we don't clean filter for one month it's harm to fish or for my room ?
Hi I'm looking to buy a male Betta in the next couple weeks and keep him in a 5 gallon tank by himself. I had a Betta several years ago and remember the hassle of changing the water, so this time around I was looking to buy a filter. What would be a good filter for my situation and how would I set it up? After installing a filter, what would the upkeep of the tank look like? Will I ever need to change the water or use purifying agents?
My fish is gone like I don’t know where it went. I had 4 fish living together in a 5 gallon tank. The fish are big but I don’t want to get another tank as that would be a lot of work.I only have fish they are my only pets so it’s not like a cat ate them or something. I have never cleaned their tank and now it’s kinds brown I have had these fish for 3 months. What happed to it. The picture is of the remaining 3.
