How much Fenbendazole would you give to a box turtle that weighs about to or less than 3 lbs? Where can you get it and what should I buy
My red eared slider is like 1 year and few months old. Her weight is 38 g. Firstly Is this an ideal weight for a turtle of this age? Secondly, how many grams of commercial pellets should I provide her? I want these two questions to be answered briefly. Give me the numerical values. Thank you
Hi I have a hatchling painted turtle who won't eat anything. Seems interested in earthworms but not flakes, pellets, or pieces of fish. What else can I try? Some people said to soak the turtle in veggie juice? I'm scared he won't make it.
How much pellets and green leaf lettuce should I feed my red eared slider with pyramiding and a soft shell? How often?Once a day? Once two days? Also if I was to get a ceramic dome for heat what kind of bulb should I buy?
Hello, My RES's eyes were swollen for last 5 - 6 days, But now they look fine but still not eating as usual, environment condition is same as before and I am giving taiyo turtle food.
I have a small turtle, it always feared & hidden. I want some vitamins & diatry system for it. How can i calculate its age
I have a concern about my female res turtle. I noticed her skin was pink in some areas mostly underside and so I washed her tank and everything else. After feeding her pellet sticks, I noticed this pink/red colored diarrhea flakes in the water. She doesn't appear to be sick, she's eating and she's active. She's being fed reptomin and dried shrimp. Anything I can do to treat this? Is it serious?
Hello there! I have a tortoise, a red eared slider type which doesn't want to eat. She's around 1 3/4 years old. When she was still want to eat, we gave her small fishes. Now she doesn't want to eat or even open her eyes. Her eyes actually healthy. I have been giving her bottled milk for past 3 months. I think she has some kind of digestive infection. Please help, doctor. If you can, please recommend me any medication I can get around. Thank you very much.
I found a baby turtle upside-down in a puddle about the size of a plate. He was barely moving, and there was no creek within a few miles. I took him in and got a 10 gallon tank. I went to a creek and got some water from that, and some little rocks and made a habitat. I got a best lamp as well. What should I do? Should I keep him and care for him? Also, what should I feed him? I sent some pics to tell size and type.
My turtle does not eat anything. He or she just sleeps. When I put it in the water it flotes and runs towards the dry surface. I have also noticed some very small worms around it when I put it in the water. Please help me.
I have 2 musk turtles, not sure of the gender but one is a lot bigger than the other one. The little one hasn't been growing much, I'm not too sure why. I've noticed recently that it has stopped eating. I separate the two when they eat so they get enough food. I have appropriate lighting and heater for the turtles.
