Tetra Easy Strips Test Strips are the perfect solution. By quickly testing for all water-quality issues in your aquarium water, these strips provide accurate results with minimal effort, using the most advanced technology in water testing. Many factors can affect the water in your aquarium - including the source of your water (municipal vs. spring water), the food you feed your fish, the amount of algae growing and much more. Tetra Easy Strips are accurate, fast and easy to use. Just dip quickly in your aquarium water, wait 60 seconds and get readings on chlorine, alkalinity, nitrite, water hardness, nitrate and pH level for complete, all-in-one testing. Use the color chart (included) to interpret your test results and determine how best to manage your aquarium's water quality. Use weekly in both freshwater and saltwater tanks.

Hello! I was wondering if you could help me out. The internet doesn’t help out to much and the bottle of the test strips doesn’t tell me the ideal amount some of these should be at. So if you could help me out here I would really appreciate it. And please tell me the amount it should be at and if it isn’t ideal how to improve it please and thank you. GH• (General Hardness) 30 KH• (Carbonate Hardness) 40 pH• 7.0/7.5 NO2• 0 NO3• 0 I am testing the tank for a betta if that makes it vary.
I accidentally bought ich x for saltwater. I’m wondering if I can use it in my freshwater tank?
When testing dog glucose I am short one strip to complete the 12

Hello i have a fish tank 45l with 11 fishes in it (Shubunkin , opaline gourami , honey gourami , trichogaster etc) . i added the fish a week ago and tested the water and it was fine.today i see that 2 of my Scalars aren't eating like everyone else , so i tested the water . Everything was fine except for Nitrite levels that was 3.0 - 5.0 ppm. I changed 25 % of the water and added Easy Life Filter Medium and after some hours i tested again the water quality and it was the same I also added salt
Is it necessary to test the Ph levels and all the other things for the fish tank water?
We are new to having aquariums, we really didn't realize so many things played a factor with the water. We currently have a 10 gallon tank but want to increase to a 29 gallon tank. We currently buy gallons of water but with the 29 gallon tank we really don't want to have to do that. We have well water with a salt filter. My levels from to tap was nitrate 10, nitrite 0, hardness 0, chlorine 0, alk 100, ph 7.. is my tap water safe even with the salt filter.
Two of the fish fins are clamping down close to their body. I did 75% water change and hopefully they will get better. I do not have the water testing kit. Will buy soon. Is there any ways to get them better? I could see some of their scales are off. They sometimes don’t swim, they just stay there and let the water flow move them. I’m getting air stone soon. Do I need VERY strong filter for them? (It’s little filter) two of them is sometimes going up to surface?
Hi, I just tested my betta tanks water & his ph is good sitting at 7.5. But my alkalinity & water hardness are both very high at 720 ppm (alkalinity) & 300 ppm (hardness). i’m just curious if i should be concerned since my ph is normal
I believe my 50 lbs. 1yr. old bulldog has a u.t.i. due to long use of predinisone. Anyway, I just received ph test strips. What range would let me know if it is u.t.i.? The strips ph range are 5.5-8.0, There were no other instructions in the pack.
All of my fish died after using a product purchased at Petco called ACUREL-F. How do I get their water safe to put in new fish?
Have 60 gal tank with 2 largish Ryukin goldfish, doing well together in this tank for several months. I added 3 times different smaller Ryukin from different sources, acclimated by floating bag method, put in the tank with the larger Ryukin. All new fish died within 3-5 days, w/ signs of swim bladder problem - not remaining upright, then dies. Water tests all zeros, using Safe, API proper ph 7.5 & bacteria. Temp 78. Tank cleaned often.. Eat soaked Hikari sinking mini pellets, peas. Ideas?
