If you have difficulty giving the medication, contact your veterinarian. Individual response to this medication varies, so your veterinarian may need to adjust the dose during the course of treatment. If on long-term therapy, do not discontinue the drug abruptly. Is it safe to give my 11 pound chihuahua Temaril - P for 15 days? I read online that the manufacturer recommends 3-4 days, so I am a bit worried. She got an rx of 1 pill twice a day for 5 days, then half a pill twice a day for 5 days, then half a pill once a day until gone.
My 14.9 pound 11 month old puppy took a 5.4 mg Apoquel and 2.4 mg of temaril p. Will this harm him. The apoquel was not for him. He took it from my 12 year old dog that suffers from allergies as well.
My 15 year old male Chihuahua was put on Temaril P & Zymox for his ears. His ears are no longer red, so I stopped using it. But he is still taking the Temaril P because of the cough, allergies. I'm giving him 1/2 pill every other day. But he still itches & coughs the day after I give him the pill. Can he take it everyday? Or should he be taking an allergy med instead?
My dog has taken temaril twice daily last 2 days today she very lethargic and shaking. Can I stop the meds
Hello, I misread my Shih Tzu’s prescription for Temaril-P. She weighs 12 pounds. The directions said to take twice a day every 12 hours for 4 days, and then take 1 tablet every other day after that. Instead she was given 1 tablet every 12 hours for 6 days instead of 4, and after that she was given 1 tablet a day and now the medication is gone. Should I worry? I tried to call my vet, but they are closed. She is acting the same as always, which is lazy.
Bella was put on Cephalexin 500 mg 3 times a day until gone. She was also put on Temaril-P tablets 1 1/2 tablets twice a day until gone. She was also given a spray for the hot spot which is Betagen Topical spray 120mL twice a day until healed.
My dog has been on half a Temaril-P pill twice a day for 3 days for coughing casued by a tracheal tube used while getting her teeth cleaned. It is causing her to have potty accidents in the house and she is no longer coughing so I dont want ro give her thw final half a pill. I have read that dogs should be slowly tapered off of Temaril-P. Does that apply to hwr even though she has only been taking it for 3 days? She is a 6.5 pound chihuahua
My dog is taking tramadol 50mg Dosage one and half capsules a day three times a day = 225mg a day, I have been told I have to change to Tralieve what would the dosage be and is Tralieve stronger than Tramadol. she also takes Gabapentin 100mg twice a day. She weighs 9Kg is 12 years old. I would appreciate your advise Thank you Mark Fisher
My female golden lab mix is 12. Vet prescribed Deramaxx 75 mg, give 1/2 tab a day. She's also taking Hepato Support for liver. I'm having $ problems paying for Deramaxx. However, Brandie is my baby. Is there a safe substitute for this NSAID?
What would be the max dose of T-Relief/Traumeel for a 39 pound dog?
I took my dog to the vet for a cough. His lungs and heart sounded normal. They put him on temaril p 3 tabs twice a day for 3 days then 3 tabs once a day for 3 days.then stop.no coughing at all while he was on it. I thought it cleared it up.Then day he wasnt taking the medication he coughed once at night. Like its coming back.his nose seems more wet then usual .clear dripping out of nostrils. I dont understand while on the meds he was normal then the day he wasnt on them he coughed?
my dog takes metoclopramide 10 mg 2x per day. Today the Dr. added prednisone 20 mg tab 3/4 for one x. Then 1/2 for the next remaining 3 tabs. This was done as the dog has difficulty walking due to inflammation of her spin. O.K to this use both meds?
