My kitten is doing really well & having solid stools (after trying many foods) on Taste of the Wild Canyon River (Trout & Salmon). I have one cat who has been diagnosed with renal failure - early stages. She is six year old, and a very small kitty (6 pounds). My kitten is finally having solid stools on Taste of the Wild canyon river dry food. I know its recommend for cats to have wet food also, but I'm worried shes going to end up with loose stools again. I do see her drink water frequently throughout the day. I would have her on the wet version of her food now, but is this something I should be worried about? Does wet food cause loose stools in cats?
