Description

At Sustainably Yours, we set out to create a litter that is both high-performing and environmentally friendly. Our plant-based formula is full of benefits for both you and your cat-all while remaining sustainable. Mixed-grain formula for balanced performance.

  • - OUTSTANDING ODOR CONTROL: Our proprietary formula instantly traps urine odor and prevents its build-up. And we never use fragrance, so there are no artificial scents that can irritate both cats and people
  • - EXCEPTIONAL CLUMPING: Because our litter is made exclusively from corn and cassava, it's naturally rich in starches. This results in dry, fast-forming, and firm clumps that you can trust to stay together while scooping and cleaning your litter box
  • - VIRTUALLY NO DUST: Our proprietary machinery removes dust at key points in the production process, resulting in a litter that protects cats from possible respiratory issues-and your home from a dusty mess
  • - LIGHT AND BRIGHT COLOR: Lighter in color than alternatives, making it easier to keep the litter box tidy and spot differences in your cat's urine
  • - LONG-LASTING PERFORMANCE: We don't just outperform other litters- we outlest them. Our litter lets you buy less and save more
  • - NATURAL AND SUSTAINABLE: Our litter is made exclusively from renewable crops of corn and cassava

BEST. LITTER. EVER.

I’ve been buying kitty litter for 36 years and I thought I had tried it all; non clumping clay, clumping clay, lightweight, pine pellets, newspaper pellets and even one claiming to be “the world’s best.” This litter beats every single one of them. It’s not scented, but does not smell. Unlike the “best” one that my teenager said smelled like a farm. Not the home vibe I was going for. Sustainably yours clumps well in a regular box and in my 2 different automatic litter boxes. I have found it also lasts longer than other more mainstream clumping litters. I’m a convert for life!

Yes, I recommend this product.

My cat said he likes it enough. He obviously prefers clay, but he knows how heavy it is in annoying to clean.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Thanks for the honest take! It sounds like your cat is making a practical compromise, clay might be the favorite, but convenience counts too. Your insight is helpful for others weighing the pros and cons of different litter types.

Excellent Liter. Our favorite by far!

Hands down the best liter we've ever used for our "normal" cat. Very little tracking, super easy to scoop and DUST FREE. We can't use it for our chronic diarrhea cat, but to be fair, the only thing that will hold up to him is dust old clay litter. He is not the norm.

After I got cats I went through a bunch of litters trying to find one that doesn't track too bad, or smell, or get stuck in my fluffy cats tail leading to an unpleasant exchange of me chasing her down trying to brush or trim it off or giving her a full bath if neither of those work. And this is the one! It has no scent to the actually littler. The clumps stay together making it easy to scoop and I don't notice a smell as long as I scoop daily unless somebody rudely doesn't cover their poop. 😬. In fact it clumps so well and doesn't smell to the point that I hardly ever completely empty the litter boxes. I also love that it's white because it makes it easy to tell if anything's wrong. It tracks a little bit I got a litter mat from Gorrila grip that works wonderfully. Overall I really recommend this product, especially the mixed grain type I think works the best.

Best Litter Ever!

Sustainably yours is by far the best cat litter I have ever used. It does an amazing job of keeping odors out of my three cat household. It is definitely worth every penny. I was thinking about switching back to a less expensive brand and my pet sitter told me not to even think about it because of how well it works.

No, I do not recommend this product.

The best so far!

I had been using Sustainably Yours for about a year but tried another brand because of the cost difference. I will be switching back because Sustainably Yours clumps better, doesn't crumble when scooped, and doesn't stick to the litter box. This means the litter box stays cleaner and odor free! My only issue is that it tracks -- I find bits around the house, far from the litter box. However, because it scoops so well I am willing to put up with a bit of extra sweeping.

Yes, I recommend this product.

This is better than the large grain cat litter. I think it has more of the small grain cat litter mixed in with the large grain so it's not as grainy.

Questions

1 - 6 of 6 Questions

With the new bag design, I don't know if it Is the multi-grain or the small grain that used to be the multi-cat plus. Does anybody know?

  1. I have always ordered the multi-cat and it is large grain. I don't know about multi- cat plus.

What is the package made of? Is it plastic or mostly paper? If plastic, is it recyclable with store drop off? So many brands claiming to be sustainable use plastic packaging.

I'm looking for a litter that does not get between my cats toes. He has an injured foot and we are trying our best to keep it clean. The litter we have now continues to get stuck in between his injured toes.

    1. Unfortunately, this litter will still get stuck in paws. It has bigger grains than the other products in this line, but still gets tracked some in our house. For short-term use, I’d recommend a pellet-type litter. Hope you can find something that works!

Is this product tested for cyanide & aflatoxins?

    1. My cat won't use anything else. It states that the litter contains no chemicals or toxins! Sorry I don't know about specific tests.

Is the cassava processed to remove cyanide?

    1. After reading about how processing cassava  I am sure this product doesn’t contain cyanide. The cat would also have to eat a lot of it even if it did. BTW there were less then a handful of deaths in Uganda from cyanide poisoning with flour that had not been skinned well and boiled. Cats are more likely to get kidney disease and die from eating lilies! The whole plant is toxic to them. Just a tiny bit can damage their kidneys.

How long does a 13 pound bag last for one cat?

    1. We've been using the multi cat for just over a month I'd guess. We have 3 indoor cats and we're averaging almost 2 weeks/bag. We are at home so I tend to pull at least the poo when I see it- or make sure it's covered. Add litter when it starts getting low, and eventually change it 100% when I start seeing bits of stuff too small to sift out. But the litter still works, even with the bits in it! They all use the same box with no issue. Except for the one cat who tends to hang her back end out too close to the entry point. That's what mats are for :-) I have found that in the Winter with dry static filled air- it does track. Quickly. I've gone to pet my black DSH and found it clinging to half his tail. I'm hoping as weather changes it won't cling so much. Otherwise, it's a keeper!
