Are there stainless steel bowls you can buy for the unit?
- When I went to look for additional bowls for the feeder, I did not see any stainless steel ones, just plastic. You might try the SureFeed site to see if they are mentioned, but I don’t recall seeing it. Good luck!

Are the bowls plastic, metal or ceramic?
- Bowls are a high quality silicon like plastic. A stainless steel bowl has been available. I am going to order one for smell sensitive cats. The SS owl was $60 when I saw it. They are not typical bowls. They have a gasket around the top for a good seal to keep food fresher.

My dog does not want to eat from his metal bowl anymore, we bought him a plastic one and for a while he ate but now he stop again. We got him a porcelain and still not eating. And my husband has feed him his soft food with a fork but he would not eat his hard food.
What is the best dog bowl material that is non toxic, going to stay clean, not get a film at the bottom and not harbor bacteria?
My cat eats her food really fast and drinks water extremely fast then goes and throws up. If I give her a small treat she will scarf it down and then goes and throws up. Every time she does this it's the morning and she will throw up more than once. She purposely eats a lot and then drinks a lot. Would a slow feeding bowl work?

My kitten's lower mouth is been really red/swollen on and off for months. I've changed her porcelain bowls to stainless steel bowls. My vet thought it might've been the food but I tried switching her to Nature's Balance but she didn't really like it. I bought a slow feeder from the pet store to slow down my cat's eating but she is barely eating and she will walk away from the dish. I don't know what to do if I go back to feeding her like I was she will gorge on her food and then throw it up. How can I get her to start eating more from the slow feeder?

Midnight just had his yearly check up and everything was good. I have noticed that he eats real fast and then throws up his food. So we got him a slow feeder bowl. It helped a little but once in a while he still eats too fast and throws it all up. What else can i do to help him slow down?

I have one of my cats feeding bowl high up and the other below because when lio was little he would eat his bowl and her clean in a heartbeat ans sweetie wouldnt get to eat her food but now as he is older lio has calmed down and even leaves leftover on his plate which sweetie comes down to eat when she has food left herself?
