Sorry for my many questions about m puppy. I have been feeding my almost 3lb shih tzu Stella Chewy freeze dried puppy recipe patties. The 1 patty is 32 calories. The food company recommended 4 to 6. When I gave him 4 he seemed hungry. I gave him 6 patties per day. When I asked again today to see if I can increase it , i was advised to feed 3- 4 patties per day. The bag says only 2 patties. I am confused. I called his vet but no answer yet. How many patties should I give per day, is it good food

Hey! My dog ate some food that was left out for maybe 7 hours accidentally. Stella and Chewy’s ‘Meal Mixers’, chicken based freeze dried raw — if you add water, it says to consume within 2 hours. Recently, Tot refuses to eat anything other than canned stew types of dog food. However, her stomach is extremely sensitive, despite slow transitions, stool is liquid. Her vet has prescribed pro-pectilin, which seems to help, but not enough. She currently eats Dave's pet food stews. We have also tried Instinct with the same result. She is 14 and is in what I've been told is the end stages of heart disease, so I want her to have the best food possible. Any suggestions?

Heidi and Ginger love the low salt chicken broth over their Diamond Naturals dog food. It doesn't take much to soften their food. I understand Chihuahuas need to have food down more often than large dogs. Will twice a day for both dogs not to exceed the number of suggested calories for Ginger be sufficient?
