This toy is my cat’s favorite toy to have ever existed. It was released a few years ago around earth day, and I bought it on a whim. He has loved it relentlessly since then. I have stitched it back together, hounded eBay, Mercari and the likes for spares because they were no longer in stock, and finally gave up, just searching for anything that could compare to watering can. I was looking through toys online last week and unexpectedly saw a listing for the treasured watering can. There it was, staring in sparkling crystalline blue, advertising itself at a mere $5.99. I was in utter disbelief. I immediately purchased four of them to have back stock, lest they be discontinued again. I still didn’t trust that it was truly back in stock until I checked out, and even then I kept thinking it was a mistake and my order would get cancelled. Well, they arrived today. All four in their shining, perfect wonder. When I tell you my sweet Zuko’s eyes were alight with glee as I presented them to him. He hasn’t stopped fawning over the new one (the other three are safely tucked away on reserve). Thank you, thank you, thank you to the moon and back whoever decided to bring this toy back into production. Zuko and I are eternally grateful.
