Not for power chewers. My 14lb dachshund had the hard chew part out immediately. It’s a choking hazard.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Never tested by Airedales!

My four month old Airedale was totally taken by this toy. I was sure that we had finally found the right toy for this aggressive chewer. "Virtually indestructible," the packaging states. That proved laughable after chunks from the back of the treat side began appearing on the rug. This product is being returned. I would have given it only on-star but our pup had so much enjoyment out of it...while it lasted...or didn't.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Definitely NOT “virtually indestructible” as advertised. It took my dog 15 minutes to tear the rubber part in half and get the treat out. I had to throw it away after that. He did like the treat though!

I purchased this for my 4mo pup to keep him occupied and the plus was that it’s a dental treat. He spent maybe 3min on it before moving onto the second option I purchased which was a squishable holey treat dispensing ball. Popped a turkey treat inside and he was occupied that day easily for over 20min and continues to choose that one over this one.

Not 'everlasting'

Not 'everlasting'. I am always skeptical about any toy that claims to be long-lasting. Well, skepticism was warranted. My dogs were excited but had finished the treat within 8 minutes. One popped the disk out within 2 minutes so I popped it back in. Is there nothing out there that lasts?

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great toy and treats!

Our dogs are obsessed. Bought the first one a few weeks ago for a puppy so she would be entertained while we’re at work during the day. Our other dog got ahold of it and loved it so we had to get him his own. They have sensitive stomachs and the treats inside haven’t given them any issues. And they have held up well against my super chewer.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Awesome boredom buster

My bully absolutely went bananas over the Bento Ball. It kept him busy for hours. Usually he destroys toys within minutes. I took him out for his nightly walk only for him to do his business and then immediately run right back home to play with his new ball. Have not refilled yet. Still in disbelief it’s not chewed to pieces.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Questions

I need to buy new treats for the toy but I don't remember what size he has

  1. The Bento Ball sizes are as follows: large at 4.5" wide x 3.5" high, medium at 3.5" wide x 3" high, and small at 2.5" wide x 1.5" high.

I just received the bento ball … Do I just give to him and he gnaws on the treat part… sorry I’m confused lol

  1. Yes put the treat in the ball or holder and let him at it. The holder makes it more challenging and mentally stimulating (supposedly) to get it out. I have a Pug who’s a power chewer so she usually gets it out in pieces in about 15 mins

How do you get the treat out?

  1. It helps to wet the edges first.  But I’ve never really found it to be easy.  But the pup loves it and he has a time getting it out too, so it lasts.

What are the ingredients in the treat part of this toy?

  1. The chicken flavored everlasting treat is: Rice flour, vegetable glycerin, corn starch, water, natural chicken flavor, calcium carbonate, powdered cellulose, citric acid (a preservative).
