I bought this timothy hay for the first time and in one day two different guinea pigs of mine have had pieces lodged in their eye! I know this can occur, but two different pigs, in one day? Also, I’ve had pigs for years and never had this happen.

Disappointing product

I bought a 40 oz bag at Runnings and it is really poor quality. It’s mostly thick, coarse, yellow stalks that look like straw. My guinea pigs lay in it for bedding, but they’re not eating much so I end up throwing most of it out. I also recommend wearing gloves when you handle the hay or you’ll be picking splinters out of your hands. Really disappointing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My piggy loved this Timothy Hay. He started popcorning as soon as he would hear the bag open. Will definitely want to add this to his normal feeding routing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My chickens loved the hay keeping their little toes clean and dry in the wet winter slush. It is packaged all the way to the brim and is a high quality product with no random debris or trash. It seemed clean and well grown

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My chinchilla Ollie loves this timothy hay. Love that the bag says that its 100% natural. My chinchilla ate it all up as soon as he smelled it. It was so cute. It is recommended for various small animals including chinchillas. So thank you for this good sized bag of hay! My Ollie boy loves it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My bun bun really enjoyed this. She is normally a picky eater. When we get something it takes her some time to really try it or eat it. This time it was gone by the end of the day. She has really enjoyed this brand and my husband and I will try switching her permanently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My rabbit loves this hay and is excited to go munch on it whenever I bring the bag out. Beware, when they say loose forage, they mean loose! It can get messy coming out of the bag.
