A friend and I split our order for the Standlee alfalfa hay bales. Nice to have them delivered. Some came just in the plastic the bale normally comes in and some came in the plastic and then packed in a box. All bales were intact when they arrived. The horses love this stuff!!!

Great product and fast delivery. Hoping someday they will carry it locally at stores instead of waiting for it to ship.

Product unusable and customer sevice via phone said they'd replace; then another Petco department cancelled the replacement order 24 hrs later and said they needed to review. Days later and no info, refund, or replacement. Get this from TSC -- infinitely better customer service!

I bought over 50 bales of standlee alfalfa hay from Petco. I had it stocked in my barn a while. I got tired of throwing out standlee alfalfa hay that contained squished rats and opossums which can cause EMP a serious disease in horses. I contacted the manufacturer standlee and was shoved off with one coupon for a free bale. I told them that after having to throw away a huge amount of hay we need compensation coupons or replacement or something. They refused and admitted that their hay has been found with rodents in it that went through the compressor machine. This is disgusting and can make animals sick. I contacted Petco customer service and they replaced only 3 bales out of the 50 bales purchased from them. I even sent pictures. As many know horse people stock hay in the barn for winter in advance so by the time we find out the hay is contaminated the 30 day warranty is out. I lost so much 💲s purchasing this hay. Just putting it out there that people need to be aware of this issue.

Very green, good quality but these bales seem VERY dusty!

Great alfalfa, not as stemmy as I'd like but it is pretty. A little overpriced for the size bale.

I know the product is very good since I have been buying it for years. I’m sure this batch will be excellent as well once Petco gets around to shipping it.

We bought this for a horse before our national horse show to beef them up a little bit and it worked great.
