Premium Alfalfa Cubes are formed by coarsely grinding Standlee forage and forcing it through a large die with heat and steam. Alfalfa forage is low in sugar, moderately high in protein, high in calories and digestible fiber. Recommended For: Growing (rapid growth) and underweight horses, horses with sensitivity to carbohydrates, horses with gastric ulcers and late pregnancy and lactating mares.

Easy to soak and my horse eats them right up. Chunks aren’t too big and easy to break apart for faster soaking.

I bought this product a month ago. I tried feeding it straight out of the bag, but she didn't understand how to eat it. I then soaked it, and she LOVES IT!!!! She "roughed it" over the winter, living out with two other baby foals. She looked like a Yak when we started the trial. She is now shed out 80%, and has a gorgeous shiny red coat!! I recommend this product!!
