Works great, and beats the heck out of hand drilling hay cubes

My horse gets Prascend twice a day. The problem is, the barn I'm at prepares the morning feed the night before and the evening feed in the morning. So when they would put the pill inside any other pill pocket it would start to dissolve and my horse would smell it and refuse to eat it. The style of this treat which is dry with a little something that adheres pill to the treat makes it not dissolve and he gobbles it up every day. I am so thankful. I know the treats are a little bit expensive but I was wasting a lot of money on Prascend which is way pricier than treats.

For at least a year I gave my horse his small pill in a hollowed carrot, but then he start spitting the whole thing out. I had already been giving him Apple flavored Standlee treats so I tried the pill carriers. Romeo likes them! I like the fact that the carrier has something soft in the center that keeps the pill secure.

My older mare has PPID and takes Prascend daily. She loves the pill carriers and eats it as a treat before her meal. I just pop the two pills in which stick to the cranberry filling and then she gobbles it down. My other horse gets jealous so he sometimes gets an empty one just because he’s cute!! Easy way to make sure she gets all her meds. I’ve also used it to give her bute pills as she is very picky about meds mixed in with her feed. She never refuses them and I Love them because it’s so easy

I have purchased 3 bags of these from 3 different places, hoping for a different result. I have a very picky horse that does not like molasses so I decided to try these. And he likes them. The problem that I have is that out of those 3 bags, I have had 3 pill pockets that actually had enough soft cranberry to put the pill into. Most have a very small amount of hard dried cranberry on the bottom that you cant even put a pill in and many have no cranberry at all. So unfortunately, they have become just expensive horse treat. Standlee, I know you can do better.
