What size crate should I purchase for an adult German Shepherd I am planning to adopt?
Hello, I have a 7 year old black lab. He's a big boy who gets very hot in warm weather so likes to lie on the coolest surface he can find which is always hard. Consequently, he has callouses on his elbows but they have become a lot bigger this year and one of them looks sore. I just wondered what Ii could do to alleviate this problem. Hello Team, My Labrador is unable to stand up suddenly after lying down for a long time or after sleep. She needs physical support at times too. Otherwise she is very active and loves to walk and play but after exercise she limps for a few hours that day. We have already reduced her portion size and now she also is on a obesity control dog food diet once a day. Also we ensure to give 2tablets of VENDISC medicine daily. Please advise what could be the reason and what precautions can be taken.

There is a rounded lump under my dog's right eye, a little less than the size of his cheek. It seems to have appeared overnight and is stiff but soft on top. He doesnt seem to have been bitten or stung. He becomes upset when i try to take a look at it, won't let me lift his fur up to see the skin underneath. He is 14 years old and a medium-sized Shepherd/Terrier mix, not experiencing any fatigue or noticeable health concerns other than the lump. Apologies for the terrible pictures!
My dog ate a container of relax treats . It contained 66 as he had four about 2pm. The relax treats have melatonin in them he is 80lbs
So my dog keeps peeing in her kennel. I have started making more frequent potty breaks and that has helped some. But she still has accidents about twice a week. So I have thought about getting her a smaller kennel. She is in a 42’’ wire kennel. She can lay in a ball in the corner of it and not take up much room. She is too tall for a smaller kennel. What should I do? Also she had had all her bloodwork done and nothing is wrong. She is 30’’ tall and 30’’ long.
