Light weight travel kennel for a crate trained dog

This is a very light weight travel kennel perfect for a crate trained dog. The outer part is canvas with net windows, the door is light weight metal and the back is plastic. It folds easily by twisting into a small square. The ‘large’ crate is on the smaller size and I would recommend for a dog no bigger than 40-50 pounds max. It is not big enough for a 70 pound dog. It’s easy to carry and pack.

When I opened the crate to see the size, noticed that it was put together wrong. The front was UPSIDE DOWN. So I had to take it off and put it back together correctly. That's my only complaint.

Just purchased this for my 32 lb Heeler. It says it’s for dogs up to 70lbs, not so sure they would comfortably fit. Perfect size for my 30ish pounder tho for being crated during classes. Not sure I’d use it unattended, the mesh is not very thick. But it’s much lighter than her wire crates, and folds up smaller.

This was a replacement for the same item that we had for years. It's great because it folds down to an easily storable size and can be used anywhere. The door opens and closes easily and is sturdy enough to take repeated use.

Perfect for my 40lbs dog! He has plenty of room to stand and turn around. It did not come with a crate mat so I’ll get that separately but really happy with the weight and easy of storage and assembly!

I placed this order a week ago and the order has yet to be processed. I called yesterday and the customer service rep first told me it was being processed (DUH) and when pressed, said a status report from the vendor would be requested and I would be sent an email with an update within 24 hours. It’s been over 30 hours (plus the original 7 days) and still no update. Yet I have been charged for this item.
Is this what is considered customer SERVICE at Petco?
No, I do not recommend this product.

What are the dimensions of the large crate? We have a grown 53 pound dalmatian/lab mix. We want her to be able to stand up and turn around in it. Thanks!
- The crate is the same dimensions as a large plastic dog crate except for the height. It is about 3 inches shorter.

my puppy is a 13 week old puppy and we have a metal crate right now and its beat up pretty bad, how big is the large i don't know how big she is going to get and i would like to keep it for when she gets full grown
- How much does your puppy weigh now ? It's about 3 months so it will probably be 2 to 2 1/2 bigger. So if she's 10 lbs, she will probably be 25 lbs full grown. If she's 25 lbs now, she will probably be 60-65 lbs full grown. I think the large crate would handle a dog at least 50 lbs. It depends on how much room for movement you want her to have. It's 18 1/2 inches wide, 22 inches tall and 34 inches long

Hi. I love this new idea of this crate. Looks more comfortable and easy to travel with. I have a 4 month old lab puppy will he be able to chew it up? He is still in the chewing age. Thank you!
- I have a small dog that gets out of everything even though she is crate trained. She has not yet figured out that this is a SOFT crate because of the wire front. That being said, I would not leave a lab puppy unattended in it. It is VERY light weight and with little effort, he could get out. I love it for traveling though and use it in the car all the time.

Would the small be big enough for a Shih Tzu?

How do you wash these?
- It's a canvas/tent material and I just use a very damp rag sprayed with kitchen cleaner OR if it's really dirty you can just spray some kitchen cleaner inside and/or out & spray with water hose then leave outside to dry.
