It was easy to get the cat in, but easy for the cat to collapse while inside. Not for first time vet visits with an unhappy cat who wants to get out. Made it more stressful for us both to try to get the cat to/fro the vet. Will be buying a bigger, sturdier carrier.

The top latch broke after a single use. It wasn't a very sturdy carrier to start with, although I liked the design and storability. It's a good idea but just very cheaply made, and I would not recommend this especially for cats who become agitated--I think they'd easily be able to break out. But I also don' recommend because this was a single use item for me and ultimately a waste of money.

I bought this one month ago to take my 8 month old, 7 pound cat to the vet. This carrier does not feel secure. I truly believe with one good push on the "door" area Gus could have opened it. I'm going to return it and buy a different type.

This is great! Light weight, easy to store and firm enough to carry. Cat enjoys sleeping in it too

Decent size for growing kittens. I like the easy opening. Seems sturdy. Insert lists carrier pad, but none included. Lightweight.

Getting my cat into a traditional carrier was nearly impossible, but with this one I sit her down and "whoosh" close the door. No struggles whatsoever.

If ordering this from Petco, please be aware that this one does NOT come with the pad ("bed") that fits inside. For the same price that Petco charges, you can buy this carrier WITH the bed elsewhere. The bed is very nice, washable, fits inside perfectly, and is worth having. I'm not sure why Petco would choose to offer the lesser version.

I have two others of these, one extra large and one the same size but a different color. Obviously, I love these. Super easy to setup and use and to collapse; when it's folded, it can still hold a bed that fits; it's really easy for the vets and myself accessing the cats; and the cats like them. It's compact design makes them easy to store and I leave one in my car in case I need to urgently rescue a kitty. I can't go back to the standard style because they just take up too much room. These are really for cats or other small animals like rabbits for transport.
