I've been feeding Soulistic and Weruva for a long time. They suddenly aren't interested in the food. I noticed the texture in both brands has changed over the last couple of months, and my not-picky-at-all eaters won't touch either brand now. My dog isn't even interested in the cans anymore. I avoid tuna for many reasons, and it's frustrating trying to find a decent tuna-free wet food. I canceled all my auto ships for Soulistic and Weruva and switched to a local raw food.

Hello, When are the 5 oz going back in stock? They have been this way for a while now?

Our cat likely has an allergy to chicken and poultry (and maybe salmon), so it can be tough finding poultry-free foods. She eats both dry and wet, and we’ve had her on a Beef & Lamb wet food from a different brand. Unfortunately that one causes biological-warfare-level smelling poops, so we decided to try switching to Soulistic beef to see if it made any difference. We slowly transitioned her over the course of a week. I was worried she wouldn’t like this because she prefers paté, but the stew style is just “mushy” enough that she still likes it. She also dislikes tuna so I was worried she wouldn’t eat this, but luckily she gobbles it right up. A few cons: it’s VERY low calorie compared to most other wet foods. So in order for her to get enough calories for the day, I either needed to double her wet food (expensive) or increase her amount of dry food to make up for the calories (not ideal), so I ended up doing the latter. It’s also less protein at 8% than her old food at 11%, not ideal either. Also unfortunate that it doesn’t come in a 24 pack like other brands so I have to reorder more frequently. Also some cons for the can: I do find the can lid a bit difficult to open on the 5.5oz cans - it’s very thick so it’s hard to pull off. Because of the “stew” consistency of the food, it’s also difficult to measure out a half of a can compared to a thicker patê. So overall, I do feel like I’m paying a little more for less protein and fewer calories, and having to up the amount of dry food she’s eating to compensate. But the good news is that at least she likes it, and it’s still moisture in her diet. Jury is out on the smelly poops though - she's been on this for a couple weeks now and it hasn’t seemed to help too much in that department, so we may go back to her old food which is higher calorie for the price, easier to portion, and has more protein.

I have been buying this brand for over 10 years now for 3 different cats. You can't go wrong with Soulistic. Seriously, this is the best brand out there.

Good Quality Cat food. I only gave 4 stars as my cats prefer the fish dishes from Soulistic. Due to the consistency the cat must be a lover of gravy.

My cat loved it the first time he tried it. I liked how moist it looked, as well as how much like real food it looks.

I bought this 1week ago trying to find a replacement for Purina Pro Plan True Nature grain free beef and giblets canned cat food 3oz size

I’m doing a food trial and needed a wet beef cat food with no poultry in it. There is very little to choose from. My cat likes this food very much because of the tuna. It’s mostly liquid. Based on calories, he would need 3 5.5 oz. cans per day. It gets expensive and takes a lot of meals to consume that quantity. But at least he’s stopped vomiting.
