we have a 20 pound rat terrier mix in excellent health, not overweight. She is 11 yrs old and we were trying to fin d a carrier like a backpack to put her in for our long walks, when she gets tired. There are so many to choose from. I like the ones that we strap on the front of the human, and her legs stick out at the top and bottom just like a real baby. However I am concerned that the position might put too much pressure on her back end. What can you recommend?
There is a product called extend for dogs for hip and pain do you know if it works and is safe
Our 90 pound 2 yr old mixed breed dog has a problem riding in our used Rav 4 suv that we got recently. When we still had the Pilot, similar vehicles, there was no problem and he liked to go for random rides. Now when one of us calls him with a coat on near the garage door, he hides. He has never been injured in any car. What could it be?
Will my ShiChon who is 15 long and 11 high fit in a airline soft sided carrier that is 17x11x11? Will she be comfortable as well? I’ve attached a picture of her in it. She climbed in herself.

Hai Dr.Davis! Heartfelt thanks to you for the help and support that you are giving us. As you said, we made toby stand by using a towel. He could not place his legs properly on the floor. But we helped and made him sit and stand for about 5 minutes and walk slowly in this manner. Our vet talled us that his right leg has been affected. Picture depicts his right and left side. Dr,which model of help em harness can be used?Your words means alot for us and our little brother toby-the chocopie boy:)
My dog is old now and has hip issues that require we help her up. I'm looking into harnesses to make both our lives easier but am not sure which style would be more comfortable and less damaging. I can only get a few styles in my country (attaching pics) and they all look painful to me. Which of these would be best? Or would any or none be a good choice? Would one wrapping around her legs be better than one wrapping around her belly? Thanks!
Hello. We have a 57lb Australian shepherd and gets very anxious when traveling in cars. We will be moving out of state and traveling close to 1200 miles. Is there a sedative you recommend over another for this long a distance?
Our 6 year old female Great Pyrenees is a family pet who also loves to patrol our farm home’s acre fenced yard. She has a buddy we rescued after her Pyr friend died from tragically being over sedated at the local vet. Missy has begun limping some favoring her right rear leg but runs on it. I need advice on how to help her travel 90 minutes away to a vet clinic where she will get the best diagnostic care. She hates to ride in the Suburban. Advice needed to ease her ride.
Is it safe to take an 8 week 4 day old puppy RV camping?
