I was told to give him ginger before the car ride to easy his stomach. I only could find liquid ginger and I wasn't sure how much to give him. He ways about 45 or 50 pds.

My yellow lab loves getting in the car for car rides, but after a bit she starts freaking out. Hyperventilating, drooling, trying very forcefully to get into mommy or daddy's lap. 4 regular benadryl doesn't even get her to sleep and I don't want to go up to 5 unless it's ok.

I've moved and to get my cat acclimated I've decided I'm going to crate him while we are working. The crate i have is 42"x28"x30", with a dual level. Will this be enough space for my cat? He is 14y/o, and will be crated for 6-8 hours 5 days a week for a few weeks, until he gets used to the area. Of course he'll be inside the house, and let out in the evenings and sometimes for a bit on lunchtime.
