LOVE these Nail Caps. The glue in one package was a little old. Blondie is used to them and her wearing them is good for my furniture too. Trick is to put them on when she is sleepy not when she is in hunting mode. The knock offs don't stay on as well as these originals.

These seam to be a good product. My cat is tolerating them well, and they are helping to protect my furniture from her scratching. They are a bit tough to put on, and the glue bottles are very tiny and hard to hold. It's rather easy to super glue yourself to the caps or have them stuck in the wrong place. The super glue set nearly instantly, so you have to place them on correctly right off or they will be crooked on the nail.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought these for my cat because she was too rough with my older kitty. My vet said he would put them on for me for free. When I got to the vet I had a $50.00 bill and instructions for my anesthetized cat! Apparently 7, yes SEVEN people were recovering from bites and scratches and a couple puffs of anesthesia had to be given to calm my monster kitty down. My kitty had also bitten 4 of the Soft Claws off. For my kitty, it was not worth the purchase.

I got these because my cat was clawing up me and my furniture. He still claws me and my furniture but it doesn't do as much damage as before and he looks cute doing it with his pink nails.

These nail caps applied somewhat easily. Unfortunately Coco is not happy with them. She got one off after a few days. We’ll see how long they last.

How is soft claw?

    My two cats don’t mind them at all. My furniture is saved and people don’t get scratched. They do come off and you have to put new ones on but they last about 4 or 5 weeks. Some longer than others.

    ARE THESE SAFE FOR CATS IF THEY ACCIDENTLY SWALLOW ONE?

      We have had no problems with with our cat. She is a little devil and she tries to remove them on her own but has not succeeded in removing them on her own unless we clip the ends first. They have help greatly in her not destroying our home and it is a safe, effective alternative to having the nails removed.

    Do the soft claws come off easily?

      You might have to plan a little bit in advance for the removal. When a cap has been on too long for one of my cats, I have to remove them. You're instructed to cut the tip of the cap off and they will come off on their own. I cut the tip of the cap off and within a couple of days the cat will have it off on their own. I have never tried to cut the tip off and then pluck it off of their claw, though.
