Questions
My 13 year old cat keeps scratching at a tumor on the left outside part of her mouth. Do you think these nail tips might help to keep her from doing as much damage to that area? She has no front claws so I only need them for the back claws.
Can these be used on a 10 week old kitten?
- I would call your vet and ask. I would buy size small if using on a kitten. Need to be careful w the glue!

Will your groomers put these on for my cat? How much would it be just to have his nails trimmed and these applied? I do not want to have my cat declawed? Thank you!
- Declawing has been outlawed in many areas. The claw covers are easy to put on. How long they stay on depends on the cat. I don’t know about the cost to have someone do it as I have always done my own. Only the front claws need to be done.

Would these be effective in preventing a cat from cutting themselves with their claws? My cat has sensitive and delicate skin, and gets scabs easily.
- I have used them with several cats. I have two new kittens and they have them on now. I have my vet put them on as I have trouble doing it. They are very humane. There is no cutting involved. They are soft plastic caps that are glued onto the nails. They were created by a vet. They would not be able to cut themselves with these on.

We have a small 12 /13 pound cat with claws and a small dog about 13 lbs , while the cat is not at all mean she does try to play with dog , the last thing I want is cat to scratch dogs eyes , so the cat stays outside which breaks our hearts, what to do
- These will work for that. However, your cat probably won't hurt your dog. Cats are aware of other animals' pain and will almost always stop before anyone gets hurt.

Can the cat still climb with these on. Mine lives on his multi-level tower and I would not wish to deprive him of that for any selfish reason I might have, such as daring to place my furniture ahead of a living being.
- My kittens still climb with them on. I have the vet put them on and they will last several weeks. When I put them on, they come off easily.

how do you know what size you need?
- It is based on weight. If you select a size, and then scroll down and select "Attributes/Specificatioins" you will get a minimum/maximum weight. Small = 6 to 8 lbs. Medium = 9 to 13 lbs. Large = 14 lbs. and up. I have seen other brands with an Extra Small size for 5 lbs. and under. They may sell these in store in Extra Small in store, I have not checked.

Would you recommend these for an indoor/outdoor cat? She's destroyed my leather furniture and will not use scratching posts or cat towers (we've wasted our money buying them for her). What do you recommend for an indoor/outdoor cat?
- I wouldn't recommend these if you let your cat outside. Cats need their claws to protect themselves! They could get seriously injured by other animals if they are not able to properly defend themselves. If you plan to keep her solely as an indoor cat, these should be fine.

My cat only need this on her back paws, can i save the tube of glue that is included for more than one application? If so what’s the best what to preserve it and also what other alternative glue can I buy if the one included dries out? Thank you!
- Yes, it can be reused. If it dries up, go buy some very cheap glue for fake nails or just super glue, because that's literally what it is. The glue for fake nails even looks the exact same and just has different labels.
