Perfect solution

My cat has been too aggressive lately, leaving the family with bleeding cuts and I didn’t know what to do, luckily I found these cat claws and he can’t attack us anymore (with his claws because he still bites) they have calmed him down though and he’s used to them now. He climbs his tall cat tower still. We are beyond happy and the glue has kept them stuck on. He’s only 6 months old and a size medium fits perfectly.

Works but not all of the soft claws stay on

Sometimes the soft claws have a tendency to fall off but they serve their purpose.

Spared from being declawed

These claw caps work so well we are placing a second order! the last couple years we were at our wits end. My husband wanted her declawed, and after seeing her destroy carpet. I almost conceded. I did one last bit of research & spoke to local Humane Society and they recommended this product. Our little cat Kizzy literally would be declawed if it were not for these caps. They are easy to apply, look great, and last a good bit of time before coming off. Thank you.

My vet suggested Soft Claws/Soft Paws (same company) for my 2 cats. They've basically destroyed 2 sofas since I can't follow them around 24/7 to stop their scratching. I was nervous about putting Soft Paws on my cats and investigated throughly to make certain I wasn't harming them in any way. I had the vet put them on the first time so I could watch and do it properly. First time we did it the nails only lasted a few days but, now that we've gotten the hang of attaching them, the nails will last for 2 or 3 weeks. (Hint: squeeze the glue around the nail so it adheres better.). Now we only need to replace a couple of nails ever 6 or 7 days and it's a quick process. I have never noticed any sign of discomfort from either cat. I don't believe they even notice the nails being on and they can still climb and jump but now without doing damage to the furniture. I suggest using one of the colored nails since it makes it easier to see which nails have fallen off.

Amazing Product!

We were moving into a new place with hardwoods and buying new furniture, but had recently adopted a two-year-old stray from a shelter. He's an awesome cat, and is PERFECTLY well behaved, except for the scratching! We didn't want to declaw him, especially since he was already two, but these Soft Claws were our last resort -- and we are AMAZED!! They do everything they're supposed to. He got used to them right away and doesn't try to pry them off, and they stay on for a long time. We only have to replace one or two at a time, every week or two - and once you have a method down, it goes super quick! My suggestion would be, get him/her used to you touching their paws first. Ours loves attention so when we pet him we play with his paws and stuff so he's used to it -- doesn't even phase him when we put the Soft Claws on now! Also -- We got him a scratching post that has like twine wrapped around it and he loves it because even w/the Soft Claws on, he can still feel like he's scratching (they don't stick in the normal carpeted ones as easily). Seriously -- give these a try, they're a great, cost-effective, non-invasive solution to scratching!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Hilarious, Adorable and Effective!

We bought these a couple of weeks ago now for both of our two cats and so far they are working great. Our one cat in particular was absolutely crazy clawing the carpet and managed to pull it up from the ground in at least three spots in our house despite the fact that he has scratching posts he could have used otherwise. I guess he just preferred the carpet! However, since we glued these hilariously cute caps on both their nails, our clawing woes are over! They do still attempt to claw the living room chairs and couch occasionally, but to my evil delight - nothing happens :) Application was pretty easy. We have one super lazy cat that couldn't have cared less. The other is mostly lazy but gets a little ornery at times, so my roommate scratched his head and I glued and it was all over in no time. Neither of the cats seem to mind the caps at all. When we first applied them, both of them did lick them for about 20 minutes and then apparently got over it and went about their kitty business. I will say that some (3) have fallen off from our cats in the two weeks they've been on, but the package said that's normal for the first application. We just glue them back on (they're pretty easy to spot on the floor when they pop off) and we're back in claw-free business! Most importantly, both of the cats look absolutely hysterical with their big, colored claws. Warms my heart...

How difficult are these to get on a cat? My cat is very difficult-cannot pick up or even trim nails? Would these work for him?

    (1) Are there instructions on how to put on Cat Nail Caps? (2) How do you size of cat claws?

    1. (1) Yes, instructions are included; basically you crazy glue them on and they usually last a few months.  (2) that was hit or miss.  We have a 12 pound adult cat and she takes Large.
