The part on the lid that holds it up and connects it to the base of the litter box snapped and has made it unstable for my cats to put their weight on

A petco employee recommended this for us when we wanted to buy a different covered litter box and our cat absolutely hated it. She wouldn't go anywhere near it no matter where we put it in the house. We kept using our old litter box hoping she'd get used to the new one right beside it, but she never did and unfortunately we retried to exchange it only days after the 60-day period that would allow for an exchange and were told we had to keep it. So now we have a $50 storage box full of holes. The man who refused our exchange was curt and offered no solutions. We were there to buy additional cat stuff and now we're going to shop online. All we wanted was an exchange. We're so disappointed I am probably not going back to that petco again either. Overall disappointment.

Bought this about a year and a half ago and it has worked well. I bought this particular litter box because of the height and the lid. The lid was not helpful, it deterred my cat from using the litter box. As my cat grew older, jumping in and out of the box has become a nuisance to him. Instead of jumping in on his own, he'll meow until someone places him in the box. I think the jump in when he really has to go makes it challenging to use, because of the height. Not ideal if your cat is older/ has mobility issues.

OK. I don't know what is happening with this litter box, but it is MAGICAL. Let me just tell you...my husband can smell a litter box from a mile away. It has always been a struggle to find a place for it that wouldn't bother him. We've had to put one in a closet in a bedroom upstairs just to keep the smells at bay. It bothered him THAT MUCH. Fast foward to today: one of our cats insists on staying downstairs all the time. We have a pet gate to keep my little dog from going upstairs, so sometimes the cat now gets stuck downstairs. I had to get another litter box, and the only place that really works is the laundry room, which is next to the kitchen and near our bedroom. I purchased this litter box, and the same litter we've been using (Tidy Cat Free and Clear) and we CANNOT SMELL A THING!! My husband doesn't even smell it!! The laundry room door is always open! I don't understand why this is working so well, but it does!! It is really pretty unbelievable. And, of course, my little dog doesn't even try to get into it since it is top entry. Yes, I bought two. One for upstairs and one for downstairs. Fantastic purchase!!

Excellent litter box, good material. Fast shipping

This is kind of flimsy and came with a crack in the plastic where the lid fastens. Not that big of a deal since she won't use it with the lid on anyway.

I absolutely love this top entry litter box! Problem with other models is that sometimes my cats kick off the lid when they’re jumping out, causing them to spook and even hurt themselves sometimes. This model has a lever operated lid that doesn’t allow for the lid to just pop off. The spacious design gives our two cats plenty of room inside, I really love this design!

Good sized litter box, and kitty immediately dropped a #2 as soon as it was set up. The top entry makes for less of a mess on the floor. Despite it being pretty deep, it is very easy to clean. Simple design but very effective.
