I have two cats who are litterbox diggers and jumpers. I also have a cat who washes her feet after using the box, which made quite a mess. I got this mat hoping it would help keep the area clean and am very satisfied. The mat is thin but sturdy. Cat claws do not seem to damage the rubber. It has multiple layers of 'litter holding space' so that it doesn't collect on the top and get moved off of the collection space as they walk on it. It doesn't smell and the cats dont mind the texture. I have had to sweep significantly less as there is so much less tracking, and it fits great into my corner. Easy to wash and shake litter out for quick cleaning.

Works really well. I have it right outside the catbox. Catches quite a bit! Cats obviously had to check it out right away once it formed flat from being folded for shipping, but it didn't bother their paws when coming out on it.

LOVE these mats. They measure 24"x36" and they are a good size to keep my cat from tracking litter throughout the house. The mat feels soft/squishy and my cat doesn't mind how it feels against her paws. I place the mat under my cat's litter box in the bathtub in our spare bathroom. She hops out of the litter box onto to the mat which traps 95% of the litter on her paws. There is another rug just outside the bathtub which traps the remaining 5% of litter. When my cat leaves the bathroom she doesn't track ANY litter through the rest of the house. I use a dust buster daily to suck up any litter on the top surface of the mat. The mats clean up up easily, I shake them out in the tub, hose them down outside and lightly scrub with soap and a scrub brush then rinse and allow to dry. I like having 4 of these to swap out as they get dusty and full of litter and then I'll clean 3 of them at a time since they take a day or 2 to fully dry.

I wish I would have gotten this years ago. We had an ordinary rubber mat under the litter box and we were constantly vacuuming up loose litter. We've had this new mat under the box for two weeks now and haven't run the vacuum yet. It looks nice, our cat has no issues walking in it, and it really traps the litter.

So I already have a little mat the works amazing but I figured trying a new one couldnt hurt. Man was I right! This mat really trapped the litter off my cat's paws and allowed my house to stay cleaner after then cats finished doing there business.

It holds a lot of litter but isn’t that easy to pick up and dump it back into the box.

I have struggled with cat litter getting out of the box for years. I have three indoor cats, one with hairy feet. It has really annoying my husband and me to no end. This mat works! I have used many types this hands down the best.

Good mat for catching litter. The kitten tears up the threads.
