Down & Dirty Directions: 1.Pour enough litter into a clean box, covering the bottom to a depth of at least 3 inches. 2.Each day remove your cat's business (#1 and #2) with a sifting litter scoop. Dispose of waste in trash receptacle. Clean the litter box regularly with warm water and mild detergent. 3. Replenish used litter with new litter as needed to maintain a depth of at least 3 inches. Replacing litter often will help minimize odors.
FOR PET USE ONLY. Keep out of reach of children. Inspect regularly and replace when litter becomes damp and/or soiled. A parasite found in cat feces may cause toxoplasmosis, especially in pregnant, nursing, or immunocompromised persons. Consult your physician for more information. I was wondering where could I get a sample of the pretty litter for my cat's box?
- Good morning! Are you referring to the name brand Pretty Litter or Petco's So Phresh colored silica litter? If name brand Pretty Litter, I would try reaching out to the company and see if they might send you a sample. Checking with the pet store where you usually shop, if you buy the product from them, ask about the return policy if you cat does not like the litter. Several stores will allow you to exchange for a brand that has worked in the past. Good luck, cats can be finicky!

we been using this litter for about a year and now it doesn't not clump right it fall apart when you scoop it you can see the change in color but it falls through the sifter
- You have to mix it with regular litter. I use clean paws by Fresh Step and I mix the SoPhresh silica litter in with it. It keeps down odor and does not fall through the scooper

This litter is not flushable - right?
- Correct. The silica litter would damage your plumbing. I think the feces could be flushed, there is not much litter attached to it and should be fine in the toilet.

I just adopted mittens from my local shelter on June 8. When I brought him home he was very scared. Now he has settled in our home. I found out that mittens doesn’t like scented litter and was refusing to use the litter box. So I bought him arm and hammer unscented litter. Took my 1 yr old male cat Bailey to vet for not seeing him pee that much. She inserted him and got some urine (said he had a little crust down there, not sure what she meant but he does sit on litter). Hey there! I've got a large Ragdoll (we think) cat that is roughly 10 years old who stopped using his litterbox for anything other than urine starting about 6 weeks ago. Always at night, when we're asleep, usually every 2-4 days, he goes on a binge poop, dropping of "presents" (ranging from hard/dry to wet/soft) on our front porch mat, my office rug, the hardwood floors along a wall, by the litterbox, on the rug by his feeder. No changes to clean litter situation or diet in over a year.

My cat currently had blood work/testing for a check up before neutering. I was told he has crystals in his urine, and high pH levels in his urine also. Is there a diet, or specific foods I can feed him to lower the pH levels (his pee smells so strong, it's yucky)? What will help to stop the crystals from forming? Maybe some vitamin supplements?
