Smaller crystals, pink so visible vs white or blue versions. Controls odor and scoopable moreso than other brands.

Turned out that while this brand was less expensive than others, it dyes not work like most crystals. It clumps, smells weird, gets everywhere as it’s literally dust. Will spend a bit more for decent crystal litter next time. Lesson learned.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Works well but the litter particles stick to my cats paws and the residue is EVERYWHERE. I have a the rubber matt in front of the litter box to catch oarticles as they exit. The litter particles are so small, they stick to their paws and stick to anything the cats sit, stand or lay on. It works as little bit sucks otherwise. The worst is feeling the litter all over the comforter. Makes me question the safety for my cats.

No, I do not recommend this product.

My wife and I bought this litter and it’s absolutely horrible. They claim it clumps and is fresh but it ruined out aluminum tray and just let the pee go right though.

No, I do not recommend this product.

As a owner of 2 cats with elimination issues (female with IBS, male with stress related urinary issues) I have tried many, many litters in search of the perfect one. This is hands down the worst and its not even a contest. First off, it doesn't clump. And forget about it if your cat has any time of gastrointestinal issues because it does not remotely work for soft stools. It smells even after removing them, as if the scent stuck to the remaining litter. It tracks like crazy and its very sharp when you step on it with bare feet. I can't imagine how my poor kitties felt. After 2 days, I threw the rest of it out. My male was so stressed by this litter I had to give him his anxiety medication he only gets during flare ups to coax him into using the box again. I bought two bags (since there was a promo for the second) and the unused bag I still brought to trash - it was too much of a hassle for me to return, and I actually would feel bad to donate it. And we donate LOTS of cat supplies that didn't suit us to our local rescues. Also, pouring it out into the trash had a really strong odor or dust and its supposed to be unscented, which triggered my allergies. All in all, this purchase not only cost me money, but me and my cats stress.

No, I do not recommend this product.

So far so go. I gradually added it the existing litter and am almost complete, with no issues. It clumps very well and doesn’t seem to track nearly as much.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I'm happy that the price lowered. My cats both like this litter. It doesn't hurt their paws 🐾. Just wish it would clump a little more, otherwise it's great.

Yes, I recommend this product.

What is the difference between the blue and pink litter?

  1. It’s the exact same thing just a different color.  I buy both just to mix it up sometimes

I was wondering where could I get a sample of the pretty litter for my cat's box?

  1. Good morning! Are you referring to the name brand Pretty Litter or Petco's So Phresh colored silica litter? If name brand Pretty Litter, I would try reaching out to the company and see if they might send you a sample. Checking with the pet store where you usually shop, if you buy the product from them, ask about the return policy if you cat does not like the litter. Several stores will allow you to exchange for a brand that has worked in the past. Good luck, cats can be finicky!

we been using this litter for about a year and now it doesn't not clump right it fall apart when you scoop it you can see the change in color but it falls through the sifter

  1. You have to mix it with regular litter. I use clean paws by Fresh Step and I mix the SoPhresh silica litter in with it. It keeps down odor and does not fall through the scooper

How often does the litter need fully changed in a multi cat household? I have 5 cats but 3 large litter boxes.

  1. I thoroughly scoop daily and clean the whole box once a year.

How much should I buy for the XL sifting litter box?

What is the chemical content of this litter?  Does it contain any known or named toxic chemicals?

    1. Hi DustyBlueHimi The ingredients of silica cat litter are simply silica sand, soda ash, and water. Those three ingredients together are tumbled in large dryers, and the application of heat makes them crystalize into the format of the finished product. Thanks,

I have the scoop free litter box. Can I use this  Crystal for that?

    1. I use it with the scoopfree litter box. Works perfectly just as their brand.

This litter is not flushable - right?

    1. Correct. The silica litter would damage your plumbing. I think the feces could be flushed, there is not much litter attached to it and should be fine in the toilet.
