I have been trying oko cat dust free paper for my asthmatic cat and it is good on not having dust but the litter itself has a natural odor to it to me like burning wood, is this harmful for my cats to smell. I have tried yestersdays new in the past and found it bad on covering ammonia. HI our cat Quincy was stuck in a tree way high (about 70 feet up) it was windy and he dug is claws in. When he finally got out he twisted some claws and lost a few others. We brought him to the vet and they cleaned up his paws and gave him antibiotic and pain medicine. They want us to use the Yesterdays News pellet litter for him to prevent infection but he will not use it. What do you suggest? Can we use his regular litter and try to wipe his paws off? He is very sensitive right now...

I switched my cat's litter box from clay to wood pellets. I transitioned very slowly and it worked because he was using it just fine with the new litter. Lately, he started using the bathroom on the floor. I'm guessing he realized he just doesn't like the new litter anymore? Well idk what to do because this is the second time he peed outside the litter box but it doesn't make sense to me because he was using it for 2 weeks before just fine. Should I start cleaning it everyday? Any options? HELP!
