Description

So Phresh Odor-Control Paper Litter with baking soda is the tough-on-odor, easy-on-the-Earth way to handle your cat's dirty business so the two of you can relax with a clean conscience. Paper that was once a newspaper or student book report is recycled into light-weight, moisture-locking pellets. Our litter is super-absorbent; it won't even break apart or cake at the bottom of the pan when wet. Our formula controls odor in two ways: baking soda and zeolite work together to neutralize unwelcome ammonia odor, and it has a fresh clean scent for especially smelly situations. Feel good about scooping sustainably knowing that you're using recycled paper litter to keep your home smelling fresh and clean.

  • - Lightweight pellets
  • - Made with 95% recycled paper
  • - Baking soda & zeolite for outstanding odor control
  • - Made in the USA

Down & Dirty Directions: 1.Pour enough litter into a clean box, covering the bottom to a depth of at least 3 inches. 2.Each day remove your cat's business (#1 and #2) with a sifting litter scoop. Dispose of waste in trash receptacle. Clean the litter box regularly with warm water and mild detergent. 3. Replenish used litter with new litter as needed to maintain a depth of at least 3 inches. Replacing litter often will help minimize odors.

FOR PET USE ONLY. Keep out of reach of children. Inspect regularly and replace when litter becomes damp and/or soiled. A parasite found in cat feces may cause toxoplasmosis, especially in pregnant, nursing, or immunocompromised persons. Consult your physician for more information. Wash hands well after handling soiled litter. Dispose of litter in trash. Do not flush in toilets or dispose of in gutters or storm drains. Store in a cool, dry place.

I tried the other product it was good but they doubled the price. So I tried Sophresh, to my surprise it was great and my cats loved it. The most importantly, there was no smell. We didn’t even know that my cats pooped because we don’t smell at all. My first time using it and I will continue using. This cat litter is highly recommended

Some good, some bad

I've bought 4 25lb bags of this for my rabbit over the past year and a half. The third bag I recently opened reeked of ammonia. I thought it might need some airing out, but even after three days, the smell remained. I can't imagine this being healthy for any pet, so I threw out the entire bag.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Worst Smelling Litter Ever

This litter stinks so bad there is no way to keep it in a closed room. I'm talking about the litter itself not used litter. I use the fragrance free bag but the last one was ripped so I took this one and was beyond disappointed. I found a combo that works with the paper and pine to control odor but pine makes a mess as it is used it crumbles if you try it. I've never had to put a closed bag of litter outside because of the smell. Lots of reviews complained about it not clumping but it's not supposed to.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Don't change the consistency!

What happened to this cat litter? I have bought this for years and the paper pellets are perfect, easy to clean up, identify urine, etc. The last two times I have bought it the consistency is totally different! It's more mushy, hard to identify wet spots, you go through it a ton faster because it's mulchy. PLEASE TALK TO THE MANUFACTURER AND GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL CONSISTENCY! If not, I will have to look for a different cat litter.

No, I do not recommend this product.

How can you tell if my cat has urinated? Does it change color are do the pellets change shape?

  1. Like mentioned by Amy, the pellets swell and darken a little. This may not be always easy to see in natural light though, but somewhat easier to see in artificial light. This is one of the two issues with the litter, the other being that the litter is dustier than before.

Is it okay for 3-4wks old kittens?

  1. I used this with my foster kittens from 4 weeks on.

Can this be used for rats?

  1. I use for bunnies. Don't know if it can be used for rats.

Can this product be flushed when scooped out?

  1. No. Can not scoop out. Dump the whole thing to trash can when wet. They won't stick together when they are wet.

Can I use this as a substrate for my bearded dragon?

  1. While I know nothing of reptile care, I would imagine that this would be far too scented to use in a reptile enclosure.

I've been a fan of this litter for a long while now, but I wish the packaging is also made of a more eco-friendly or at least a non-plastic material—any chance we'll be seeing a different packaging in the near future?

  1. Hi JessSun1017, This has been shared to our vendor. Thanks,

Can I use this if I get a kitty declawed 1

  1. Yes it has no added chemicals to infect your Kitties claws. 99% no tracking. Cant smell anything after days use. Clean out box and replace every 6 to 7 days. Even best cat litter clumping, can make cat smell like poo from using the cat box. No smell on my cat from scratching up litter. Always clean poo out 2 times aday. But I do that regardless of litter I use and it's easy to take out because you dont have to go digging for it it. Love this litter and so does my Kitty!!

I use fresh step crystals, do you use this the same way? I mix it up daily and change it once a week. I have 3 cats using 1 litter box.

  1. Hi Kcricket, The first thing we would advise is regarding the transition of litter. If you are currently using the silica and are looking to switch to the paper pellets you will want to take that slowly. My advice is below. Transitioning Litters Week 1 - Start with 1 inch of the paper pellets under 2 inches of their current silica litter. Do not mix, as the cat will do this when pawing through the litter. Week 2 - 2 inches of the paper pellets under 1 inch of their current silica litter. Week3/4 - Switch entirely to the new paper pellets This will allow their cat to slowly adjust to the new litter. Scooping We would recommend scooping solids daily &; scooping liquids as necessary. Liquid scooping is the preference of the user. Some consumers do not scoop the liquids at all, as the find the odor control is good enough to not need to do that. We have other users who scoop the liquids every day. Change litter once a week complete - no stirring necessary. Thanks,

Sophresh dog litter is recommended for my mini pig. Can I use the cat litter?? The cat litter comes in a larger bag vs the dog litter

  1. Hi Kris418, Yes, it can be used. Thanks,

Can this be used for rabbits too? Thank you

  1. I use it for my 6 bunnies, but the odor control ingredient they add is very strong. It makes my eyes water, so of course I worry about them. I open all the windows and the door while I'm changing the litter and leave them open for a bit. The scent seems to dissipate fairly quickly. I would try to air out your bun's area a bit after you first put it in the box, just in case. Otherwise, it works great for bunnies!
