Why is this so hard to find in stock? My local store never as it. I have to either drive 20 miles (I'm in San Diego, not a small town) or pay to have it delivered. I would buy two but the web site shows it as out of stock for two. Stock it!

can this straw be used for strawberries
- This is not straw. It is made of very small, soft wood chips. I don't know if it would be OK for strawberries, but when my bunny is through with it, I do use it for mulch.

Have you changed maunufactures for this product?In the past year, I have returned bags back for hard sharp point pieces and it is full of dust. I have to use a strainer to shift the dusr out before placing it in their cages.

Is this bedding safe for chinchillas. It has a picture of a chinchilla on it but I read a response that says it isn't fully kiln dried and pine can be harmful when not kiln dried. Is this 100% safe for a chinchilla.

Seems like there's confusion is this Hamster safe or not why is there one on the front.
- This item is not safe for small animals. There are unfortunately a lot of products marketed towards small animals that are in fact not safe for them. You cannot go off of what companies or packaging says and have to do your own research. This is the same for treats, food, other types of bedding and cages that all say they are safe for certain animals and are not. Do not buy this bedding for hamsters, chinchillas, rabbits or guinea pigs unless you are willing to risk their health.
