So Phresh Odor-Control Paper Litter with baking soda is the tough-on-odor, easy-on-the-Earth way to handle your cat's dirty business so the two of you can relax with a clean conscience. Paper that was once a newspaper or student book report is recycled into light-weight, moisture-locking pellets. Our litter is super-absorbent; it won't even break apart or cake at the bottom of the pan when wet. Down & Dirty Directions: 1.Pour enough litter into a clean box, covering the bottom to a depth of at least 3 inches. 2.Each day remove your cat's business (#1 and #2) with a sifting litter scoop. Dispose of waste in trash receptacle. Clean the litter box regularly with warm water and mild detergent. 3. Replenish used litter with new litter as needed to maintain a depth of at least 3 inches. Replacing litter often will help minimize odors.

A parasite found in cat feces may cause toxoplasmosis, especially in pregnant, nursing, or immunocompromised persons. Consult your physician for more information. We have been using SoPhresh for years, the grass seed litter variety. I thought we would see if this is just as good as the grass seed. It’s definitely different. Does have a fragrance to it so can mask odors. The bag is very lightweight compared to the grass seed so works well if you have to carry up flights of stairs. The clumping is so so as well as the tracking. Although I think all litter is going to get outside the box, just part of having a cat. My robot vacuum has a harder time picking up this litter than the grass seed one. There’s not enough of an overwhelming advantage to switch to this crumble paper from the grass seed litter but if you’ve just adopted a cat this may be perfect for you.

So Phresh Multi-Cat Odor Control Crumble Paper Litter is quite unique! It's lightweight, made from recycled paper, and works! You know it's different when you pick up the bag. Inside you'll find pellets instead of sand or granules. These unique pellets are coated in baking soda and other things to absorb odor, and it works perfectly! I honestly don't know if this litter would work in a self cleaning, automatic litter box. This IS a product I'll be repurchasing!

My 2 cats were really excited to use this. I love that it's recycled and has excellent odor control for multiple cats. I received these products for free from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review. It does not work with the autoscooping tray (nor does it claim to), but I just turned that off and scooped as needed. Seriously thinking about swapping to this for my pets' health!

My cats were more interested in playing with this litter than they were in using it as litter. When they actually did use it as intended, it absorbed pee quite well. However, it did NOT trap odors. And, the cats tracked it out of the litter box pretty badly. It was everywhere! And, it's quite dusty.

This litter is a nice idea, but it didn’t work for me. It doesn’t clump up the urine and didn’t control odors like other litters do. I can see this being beneficial if you have an injured cat that can’t really dig in the litter, but it just didn’t work for me. My cat also tracked it all over the house because of how it stuck in his paws and between his toes.

Would love to LOVE this as an alternative to the tofu litter I have been using for my 22-23 year old kitty. It does clump - and it is low tracking - but her white feet are now gray! Yikes! Possible room for improvement?

This product smells fresh and has minimal dust. The clumps are slightly larger than non-paper litter. This will not work on some automatic litter boxes as it gets stuck in the grates and discarded as waste however if you are suffering from dusty litter this one is a good option.

I can’t really say if my cat likes it or not because I just received it and didn’t have enough time with the product. She’s a bit older and was skeptical of the texture so I’m not sure this is going to be a hit for her. May be perfect for a younger cat.

I really like this litter and the fact that it is made out of recycled paper. However, I wish it didn’t come in a plastic bag. It appears that So Phresh is a Petco brand - is there any consideration for making the packaging more environmentally friendly?
