My cat ended up eating this mat and had to have an emergency surgery to remove all the pieces from his tummy, turned into a VERY EXPENSIVE MAT! Also, get pet insurance!!

This was a little smaller than I envisioned, but it is very soft and flexible. The cat seems more comfortable stepping on this one than on the harder plastic rectangular one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third litter mat I have tried, and so far, it has been the most effective. The looped rubber material helps absorb litter that normally would be tracked on my tile floor. It is easy to clean and shake out. The only con is that I wish it were larger in size. This would be perfect in a small space.

Mat looks and feels well-made. We recently switched to a new litter made from olive pits - this mat is catching the small litter particles really well when kitty exits the litter box. I am hoping it will be easy to clean as well. Our old mat did not catch litter box particles very well, so I am glad that this one is doing a better job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Spotted by Petco Sampling program in exchange for my honest review. Aesthetically, I opted for the off-white color because my carpet in my office (where the litter boxes are) is light gray. However, one benefit of selecting a lighter color is that you really get to see the litter trail and all the litter is mat is able to capture. This mat is high quality, thick and heavy, and slip resistant. It is rubbery and slightly tacky which makes it difficult to move. I use it on carpet and it truly doesn't move; I imagine this would also be on the case on hardwood or tile wherein dust is regularly cleaned. The texture of the mat consists of these little coils that traps the litter within the mat and keeps it from being dragged or moved onto other areas. So far, it seems to be great at minimizing litter trails. The only issue I have with it is I think it's a bit small, especially for my size of litter box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mat does the job it's intended to do. It collects litter a lot better than some other mats I've had, and as you can see in the photo, it collects a lot! I do wish it was a little bigger, but this might not be a need in every litterbox set up.
