This litter mat has been catching litter quite well! My cats have a top entry box so tracking is already pretty minimal, but I have absolutely noticed less mess around the box these days. I like the spongey feeling this mat has as well, great for my cats paws

This mat came at the perfect time. We were looking to upgrade our cat's litter mat. Our old one was not working anymore because it was just too small. This one is the perfect size and reduces the amount of litter that gets thrown out as our cat leaps out of the box. We love it.

Good quality mat, it’s pretty thick and catches the litter well. My only problem is that it doesn’t hold it in well after you move it to empty, so I end up having to vacuum up the little bits that fall. Not too big of a deal, it keeps the litter from being all over my house. It also works well in front of my litter robot.

It’s for when they step out! Put it next to the litter box where they exit for the litter to be trapped within. You’re welcome As for it not laying flat, you can put it out in the hot sun or use a hair dryer and let the material relax… it’s an extra step but it will do the trick. My main issue is keeping it clean.. if a cat poops or barfs on it, I have to drag it out to my lawn and power wash it when I used to be able to just clean my tile floor easier. I think this is great if you have carpet.. might save you there but if you have linoleum or tile, you win some you lose some…

This mat is fantastic! it does exactly what I needed it to. It has greatly reduced the amount of mess around the litter box. as for the complaining reviews that "it doesn't lay flat", it certainly does after about 3 minutes in a warm clothes tumble dryer. As always petco shipped it fast and it arrived in well packed condition. I highly recommend buying this product!

What does “water resistant” mean? Is it water proof or not? Would water - or accidental overshot - soak into it or through it?

Hi Omwwind The technical definition of water resistant is that it's able to resist the penetration of water to a certain degree, but not entirely. Waterproof technically means that it's impermeable to water, no matter how much time it spends in water Thanks,
