The So Presh Life Is Better Cat Litter Box Privacy Hood is a very nice looking product. It is made of very sturdy plastic and is easy to clean. However, I did not realize that it did not come with the actual litter box. The box and lid are sold separately but I tried to fit it on my litter box anyway. It didn't fit well and kept falling off. This would be a good product as long as you have both the box and the lid.

This would be a good product as long as you have both the box and the lid.

This is a decent sized hood for our 12 pound cat. It fits with the corresponding litter box well. On top of function, it has a cute design. The door swings open and shut without much effort. So far the cats have not had any issues. Seems pretty study even though it’s light in weight.

This litter box topper is so adorable. It's very sturdy and decorated with whimsical images. The door is easily removed if that works better for your kitties. It makes me smile every time I walk into the room.

I received this adorable So Phresh Lovey-Dovey Cat Litter Box Privacy Hood in exchange for my honest review after trying it out with my adopted cat for a few weeks. When I opened the box, I appreciated that this litter box privacy lid had come wrapped in cellophane to protect it from scratches and dirt. The plastic seems durable enough for a small animal to go in and out of it repeatedly. It never got scratched from any of the cat's, foster puppy's or my adult beagles' claws. With the decoration on the privacy lid, the height of the privacy hood didn't seem too akward. The Lovey-Dovey cat little box hood actually looked stylish on my cat's litter pan in my laundry room which is easily seen at the edge of the kitchen doorway. My adopted cat had never used a hood on her litter box before, and it took her about five times before she actually went into the box to potty rather than just investigate what this new item in her "space" was. What I found more surprising was that the little puppy that we are fostering right now would go inside and hide in the Lovey-Dovey cat litter box with the privacy hood attached when my adult beagles would get energetic and play with their toys after I came home from work. I am not sure that my cat understood why her litter box had a cover on it for the first time, but it did help to keep the cat litter mostly inside the hooded litter pan rather than being kicked onto the floor surrounding the litter pan. It wonder if the little puppy had not been hiding in the hooded litter pan, if my cat would have used that litter pan more often than she does. I've learned from this experience that my cat is somewhat territorial about her "space", and she does not like when other furry friends use "her" space even if it's only to hide inside of. I think that if I had multiple cats and no dogs, this would be a worthwhile product to use in my home because it does hide the litter pan in a stylish way, and it also provides a little privacy for finicky or timid cats to take care of their toileting needs.
