My cat only likes toys with some type of string but then he chews thru them and won’t play with them anymore. What type of toys would be best?

Gibbs my new 1yr old cat, he's familiar with the pink round platform ball trackor on the left. Because he had one to play with at the Northshore Animal League. At 1st he's would pounce the scratch not understanding he could scratch it as well, until I pour a little catnip on it..its organic, but wondering if it's alright brand? Hi, We’ve gotten mindy a bunch of different toys for her and her sister to play with. They dont like any of them. So when we got a kitten and got him lots of toys mindy loved playing and chewing the cat toys. There is no catnip in the toys so what can i get mindy so she can play and have fun if she is scared of squeakers? Thank you.
