Questions
What is the post made of (under the sisal)?
How do I replace the sisal? Ours is all worn out and it seems crazy to throw this whole thing out -- and to pay $50 for a new one!
- This thing was designed to last for years. There is no replacing the sisal. I've had it for about 2 years now and my cat uses it a lot. Still looks like new. Paying $50 every 5 years or so is nothing compared to prices of everything else these days.

Is this scratching post made in the USA
- From my investigation, it looks like they are made by Pioneer Pets, which is an american company. I will say that my cats love this scratching post, and use it every day.

Can this be used by kittens and seniors as well
- Yes! I have two cats and purchased one 3 years ago. Although areas of the cover are frayed from scratching, this is still the most stable and longest lasting scratching post I have ever purchased! I will definitely purchase another one of these when the time comes.

My kitten likes to scratch my wooden chair, doors,and occasionally the door frames. I bought her a wooden cat scratcher with catnip and all she does is bite, sleeps, and lays on it. Do you have any recommendations on what would be a good scratching post? Sisal rope, Sisal carpet, and etc?

My cat has a serious and obsessive scratching behavior. I have tried EVERYTHING. My cat’s got a cat tree that’s 2m tall. She sleeps on the highest bit. Her food bowl is on the second highest level. And her water fountain is on the floor. She doesn’t play with the tree or outside of it at all. she only climbs it to sleep and eat.
