STEP 1 Saturate soiled area and 1 - 2" perimeter with product. For carpets and upholstery, make sure to saturate backing and padding. STEP 2 Wait 5 minutes, then remove excess moisture with a colorfast cloth or paper towel. For textiles, blot or vacuum with wet-vac for best results. STEP 3 Allow product to dry naturally & completely before children or pets re-enter the area. A second application may be necessary for dried or stubborn stains.

Doesn't do anything; overpriced & overhyped
Purchased last month at the enthusiastic recommendation of my favourite Petco employee. Unfortunately, it really doesn't do anything at all to reduce or remove the scent or stains of cat urine, after heavily saturating the area, even if I also scrub the area with water & vinegar. Doesn't work on hard or soft surfaces. My favourite enzyme spray is much more effective.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Our Stain & Odor products use a Biokore surfactant technology rather than an enzyme-based technology, and so to ensure you have the best experience possible, it's best to extract the product after application. <br />Here are some helpful tips when using our Urine & Odor Destroyer: <br />STEP 1: Spray the area then let the cleaner sit for about 5 minutes. <br />STEP 2: Use a highly absorbent cloth to soak up as much excess moisture as possible. *Note: Extraction is key when using this product. If the area is oversaturated, more extraction will be required.<br />STEP 3: Allow the area to dry naturally <br />STEP 4: Repeat the process if needed<br /><br />For highly porous surfaces and heavy-duty stains:<br />STEP 1: Saturate the area (if needed, saturate the backing/padding under carpet)<br />STEP 2: Re-saturate the area with water<br />STEP 3: Use a wet/dry vacuum over the area until the liquid is removed from the floor<br />STEP 4: Carpet will still be damp but it’s ok to let it dry naturally<br />STEP 5: Repeat the process if needed<br /><br />We do offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all of our products. It works!
I used this on my car seat to get rid of cat urine smell. I followed the instructions on the bottle. Smell was gone in 2 days!

Bad Bottle, Not a Deterrant
Pleaaaase change your bottle design. It keeps getting unscrewed on its own and I accidentally dumped 1/3rd of the bottle just by picking it up. Also, I may not notice the urine smell, but that's not why I bought this product. I bought it to help my cats stop using the floor nearish to their litter boxes and it hasn't really stopped them from doing so.

Is this safe to use and will it work on a leather couch? It is not suede but it is a bit softer and more fibrous than a standard leather

Will Skouts Honor Urine & Odor Destroyer work on hard surfaces? Not hardwood floors but wood laminate flooring.They are brand new and don't want them to stain by using this product. With ongoing construction, our cat has urinated on these floors...
- Our Urine & Odor Destroyer is safe to use on water-safe surfaces including tile and laminate. We recommend first spot testing in a small inconspicuous area for colorfastness and to prevent any possible damage. If you're unsure if the wood laminate flooring is sealed with a water-safe sealant, then we also recommend contacting the manufacturer.
