Works no better than dawn soap or mixing baking soda and peroxide. I do have a dog with a double-coat though (lab mix), so she is really permeated. If you have a short hair dog with a single type of hair (think pit, Doberman, short hair doxie), it might work better. For long hair dogs and double coats, you're going to get the same results from grease fighting dish soap.

Tried this instead of natures miracle. Stick with natures miracle. I called skouts honor and they said this product must be used multiple time to be effective. I don't have time at night to bath my dogs over and over when natures miracle gets jib done first time.

Works on surfaces not on dogs. Not worth the price

I have 2 golden retrievers and a husky that got a direct hot from a skunk. I bought a couple bottles of this, followed the directions and it completely took the smell away. I have never used anything like this before. The smell was completely gone. I highly recommend this product. Absolutely amazing

We have even tried the traditional peroxide mix and still think this works better.One time our dogs white patches were yellow from being so close to the skunk. Although it did take a couple washes with this stuff, it did the best job by far.

I initially started using Skouts Honor probiotic shampoos when my dog, Bear, had horrible seasonal allergies. I love my vet, but the oral and topical medications we tried did not work. I found SH online and tried the shampoo/conditioner combo and the probiotic spray. Bear’s hair started to grow back on his paws (where he licked) and his eyes and snout (where he scratched when he was itchy). Since then I’ve recommended it to everyone who would listen and started semi-regularly washing Bear, especially in fall and spring seasons when he gets allergies. But this isn’t even the only thing. I found out they had a skunk solution, and I live in the woods. I figured the only logical thing would be to have a bottle on hand just in case. 3 years that bottle has sat in a cabinet in case of an emergency. My other dog, Baby, was out for a potty and when he got to the back deck I just knew something was wrong. I could smell him through the walls and doors of my house. Thankfully, the bottle of order eliminator was right in the kitchen cabinet where I keep all the dog first aid supplies and treats. I followed the bottle’s instructions and doused him in the solution, rinsed, repeated the process a couple more times, and of course followed with a shampoo and conditioner from Skouts Honor - because it is always in my shower (tbh, I never tell anyone this, but one time a couple years ago I actually ran out of shampoo and used my dog’s out of desperation and low and behold, my hair smelled like lavender and was really soft.) Anyway, I keep giving Baby a sniff test and no skunk smell. Look, I’m a scientist and I know you can break down thiols chemically, but I still feel like I’m witnessing a miracle. I also love that this company follows green chemistry standards. I just am so incredibly grateful. People of Skouts Honor: Thank you for helping Bear with his allergies, and thank you for helping Baby with his skunk encounter. I truly believe you make such a positive impact on dogs and dog owners’ lives. Thank you so SO much!

This works great as a cleaning solution for fabrics and wiping down surfaces to remove skunk smell. I am on treatment number three and bottle number two (somehow still holding out hope) on my dog with less than great results. She is still a stinky girl.
