Skout's' honor, skunk formula, works so well, so happy to have something we could use on our fabric couch as well as the dog including her face.

Our pug somehow got into some skunk spray when he was sniffing around on his morning walk. We have skunks in our neighborhood, and when he’s gotten into it in the past, I’ve always been able to get rid of the smell simply by wiping his nose and face off with a baby wipe. Not this time! It was all over his head and neck, and I could not get rid of it with the usual methods. You could smell him just walking into the room. Purchased this in desperation and used it once, and the smell is gone!

Our new dog can't stay away from the local skunk. FIVE times in four months. I could cry. I've used the home recipe with about 90% success ... but after 5 times, the lingering taint is just too much. And, there's no scent, and even better, no covering scent! I have no interest in having the dogs smell like lilacs and honeysuckle. You'd mistake this stuff for water, but it works like magic! You have to make sure to track down EVERY SINGLE stinky spot. If in a couple of hours there is any odor, you missed a spot. In my case, it was actually the collar. I pulled it off, put it in a bowl, dunked it, buh-bye last lingering taint. I will have this product on hand for the rest of my life!

Works no better than dawn soap or mixing baking soda and peroxide. I do have a dog with a double-coat though (lab mix), so she is really permeated. If you have a short hair dog with a single type of hair (think pit, Doberman, short hair doxie), it might work better. For long hair dogs and double coats, you're going to get the same results from grease fighting dish soap.

Tried this instead of natures miracle. Stick with natures miracle. I called skouts honor and they said this product must be used multiple time to be effective. I don't have time at night to bath my dogs over and over when natures miracle gets jib done first time.

I have 2 golden retrievers and a husky that got a direct hot from a skunk. I bought a couple bottles of this, followed the directions and it completely took the smell away. I have never used anything like this before. The smell was completely gone. I highly recommend this product. Absolutely amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best skunk odor remover we have ever found. We have even tried the traditional peroxide mix and still think this works better.One time our dogs white patches were yellow from being so close to the skunk. Although it did take a couple washes with this stuff, it did the best job by far.

Great question! Yes you can, however some surfaces like couches are more porous and can trap the skunk thiols. Multiple treatments may be needed depending on the severity of the spray and the type of surface. Our Odor Eliminator is a good alternative since it's in a trigger bottle and would help with applying to larger areas. We also offer a Stain & Odor Remover that will help to remove any lingering skunk thiols from the various surfaces.

Yes. This is the only product I’ve found that really works to get rid of the skunk odor on your dog, furniture, clothing—everything. It will still work after a week but you will have to repeat the process a few times for sure.
