Shake Well. Wet coat thoroughly with warm water. Apply shampoo+conditioner from the back of the ears to the tail. Lather and gently massage into coat and skin, being careful to avoid the eyes. Rinse well. Repeat as necessary. Before Use: Use with Skout's Honor probiotic daily-use treatments. Safe for kittens 8 weeks of age or older. Dr. Hinson/ Dr. Melanie: what about this shampoo? Also, do you recommend conditioner for dogs? I am going to try the allivet items but I came across this and became curious.
Looking for shampoo and conditioner recommendations that will relieve itchy skin, Treat multiple skin conditions, hydrate skin, promote healing, and treat bacterial, fungal and viral infections. But okay to use on highly sensitive skin and wouldn't hurt if it got on my dogs ears (super dry, inflamed skin with sores that have black crust around them)

What is the best shampoo for a Lab that skin is flaking?
My foster smells terrible. We gave him a bath with medicated shampoo which improved the look of his coat, be he still itches and bites at his rear and the odor is quite bad. Since he is a foster, I am hesitant to spend on remedies sold by non-professionals in the stores. Any suggestions please that might help out. He is about 1 year and came from a hoarding situation.
