Seizures are no laughing matter, especially when they are caused by a medication. My Havanese-Poodle was a healthy 11 year old dog when we started giving Simparica Trio to him. After 1 week (to the day we gave it to him) he had his first seizure. The vet did not know what caused the seizure and did not state that the medication may be the cause. We had the exact same reaction the second month. This time, he started having multiple seizures. Again, the vet did not state that the medication might be the cause. We stopped the Simparica Trio, but it was too late. His seizures got worse and finally we had to put him down. He was in the prime of his life. A dog that loved everyone and every dog and was loved back. Having to put him down still remains in the front of my mind after 3 years. I had to write this review here to warn pet owners that the warning of seizures stated on the box is true and not to be taken lightly. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS MEDICATION.

it seems she starts to itch before the 30 days is up, but not by much.. a few days. just not sure if I should skip to a 28-day cycle with this . might serve her better
