Simparica is a chewable that kills adult fleas, and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis), and the treatment and control of tick infestations (Amblyomma americanum (lone star tick), Amblyomma maculatum (Gulf Coast tick), Dermacentor variabilis (American dog tick), Ixodes scapularis (black-legged tick), and Rhipicephalus sanguineus (brown dog tick)) for one month in dogs 6 months of age or older and weighing 2.8 pounds or greater.

Simparica is given orally once a month at the recommended minimum dosage according to your dog's weight. Simparica can be offered by hand, in the food, or administered like other oral tablet medications. Care should be taken that the dog consumes the complete dose, and treated animals should be observed for a few minutes to ensure that part of the dose is not lost or refused.

This is a review of PETCO and their practices…not the product Simparica… Could not get the product. Your pharmacy had technical glitches and your CSR even acknowledged that. However, when I spoke with a Manager she was not interested in assisting me and went on to blame my vet. My vet showed me where they approved the script and transmitted to the pharmacy. I will redeem my reward for a free bag of food on my account and then never use Petco again. Will also inform my friends and other pet parents of my negative experience.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Questionable Pharmacy

The pharmacy could not seem to understand that script for 12 tablets can be ordered in smaller amounts. Also, they had a problem understanding that Simparica Trio and Simpatico Trio Chews are the same med. Taking my canine scripts elsewhere
