Excellent product

Coco

I bought Absorbine Silver Honey for my seven-year old Chinese Shar-Pei, Coco. She has chronic skin problems that get worse with the summer heat. This time, instead of spending a fortune at the vet, I decided to try this product for Coc's hot spots. Hers can get quite nasty, and in the past have required antibiotics and prescription skin topicals. After four days of applying Silver Honey, the redness and sores were healed. I am impressed. It was a little pricey, but less expensive than an office visit with her vet. I told my co-workers about your spray gel. Thank you. You have a loyal customer.

All I can say is my male would not touch it and my female threw it up. My in-laws dogs eat them like treats.

My dog won't eat them! He loves your dental chew sticks, however.

It's OK

I bought this about six months ago. Worked great on my boyfriend's pug. The pug had an abscess. I am using it on my border collie. She got a big cut from barbed wire, the bittering agent doesn't work, she still licks constantly, it seems to make it hurt or burn or more itchy because she's licking it more than before I used it. It's also really hard to apply. It keeps it clean but I wouldn't recommend this product versus other products on the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog had some wounds from hurting herself so I applied this on her for a couple of days and within days she was healed. My sisters dog also had some hot spots and I let her try this and she said it really helped.

Good product, just depends on the dog!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two dogs, one of which is made of steel and can handle anything and everything that you give him to eat, anything on his skin, etc. And then I have a dog who is made of paper and anything you feed him or anytime he goes outside he has an allergic reaction. This product worked great on our more resilient dog, aside from the fact that we had to keep an eye on him to make sure he didn't eat the product before it soaked in. For the other dog, we only tried it one time and did not see any major reactions from it, but also did not help too much with his hotspot. Every dog is different, this one is definitely worth a shot as it worked great on one of our pups.

This honey dried hard on my dogs cuts and now I can't get it off. I tried wet wash cloth and soap. Nothing makes a dent. Has anyone else had this problem and had success getting it off?

  1. I had not had that problem with the produce. It is a little hard to use, they make a spray on product that works very well and is really easy to use, I really like it. For places that are difficult to spay, like around the face I spray it into my palm and apply it with my fingers from there. I really like that product.
